Cannot play fullscreen, so you have to change the resolution of your desktop every time you want to play this game. You cannot turn off controller vibration. For some reason, we could not play anything other than the tutorial level. In short, awful experience. update: we found out that you can select a level when each player selects a different level, which is not explained at all. Also, it's not clear what catching the ball on the other side does. Since nothing is explained very well, and the vibration is very annoying, I decided to refund this confusing mess.

Amazingly sophisticated and easy to pick up. Split-screen co-op with two controllers is a must.

My girlfriend and I were searching through steam looking for a local co-op game to play this evening and happened to stumble upon this gem. We were drawn in by the psychedelic art style and were willing to shell out the 5 bucks for that alone but damn... the gameplay is genius. It definitely takes some time to wrap your head around the mechanics but if you stick with it you will be rewarded with one of the most unique gameplay experiences available on steam. We ended up playing for 2 hours straight. This game is definitely worth your money if you have someone around to play with (local multiplayer only). The only down side is that there is not a ton of content -the concept just has so much potential to be expanded upon and we would love to see more. Praying for a sequel!!!

Witchball is everything I wanted Nidhogg to be; an edge-of-your-seat competitive local co-op title that thinks outside of the box. It's a shame there is no single player mode. The upside is that there is a ton of content and many different modes to work through. There is little tutorial, so get ready to figure things out.

Witchball is the best game I never knew I wanted. To sum it up, the game is similar to pong + tug of war. I personally found it hard to convince friends to play with me for more than 5 minutes, but once they give it a chance, it's very deep and contains a lot of elements that make it feel like a fighting game. If you're super into local multiplayer games and have a couple controllers, I think it's a no-brainer to pick this game up.
