X-Com: Terror from the Deep is THE must-play oldschool pixelated horror turnbased strategy game of the past millenium. Play this alone, in the darkness, without the nuisance person of your household approching you every 10 minutes and you'll have a great time.
Some reminders:
- There was an old research bug with the Tasoth Commander, which led to you being unable to research the last science and finish the game. I am uncertain whether this has been patched out in this version. There was a certain order of some researches you should do to get it, please seek online help when approaching "deep one" and "Tasoth Commander" as research options, having to play to that point again because of that bug felt terrible back in the days.
- You absolutely CAN SAVE inside missions, to save your fighters. It took me half a year till I found that save button there, but then again, I was 11 years old. Save regularly and use more than just 2 of the saveslots.
