Nice Way Reviews

Nice Way is a fascinating puzzle game in which you have to pave the way for little balls from one point to another. But everything is not so easy as it may seem from the first sight: you have to take into account probable physics, different obstacles, portals, accelerators and many other things.

This game has the complexity of a Cool Math Game. Easily beatable under 2 hours. Still not worth refunding for the less than a dollar that I bought it for.

Nice concept and use of getting Unity in. Seems this is new to you...well a good start and I hope if later titles possible you can put music in like that EDM found on the trailer.
Nice Way is a simple physics puzzler about getting balls from start to exit by drawing lines.
It's also modified from pre-made assets of "White Peas Puzzle Game Unity Source Code"*. I grant that the developer has stated in another review's comments that their implementation of the idea in C# is their own. As the programming language of the back end is completely irrelevant to the player, I will still treat the game as an asset modification (as opposed to asset flip where nothing is changed except possibly graphics or filters). As such, I will focus on the level design and challenge rating in comparison to similar games.
Unfortunately, it falls flat
Balls spawn constantly from the start and there's no losing condition (initially). The ultimate goal of each level is to get at least 10 balls to the exit by drawing straight lines that act as solid platforms for the balls. The game offers 45 levels of various difficulty starting with near-trivial ones and gradually introducing new features. Some levels are recycled from other similar games or perhaps the original source code, while it seems there is some original work as well. Special features are the same as for other games like this: speed-up lanes, teleporters, kill blocks that destroy balls etc. Finally, hitting a bird (in the late levels) with a ball restarts the level. Each level grants an achievement for completing it. Achievements pop up when the game is closed. Most levels can be beaten with a single attempt. I was only ever stuck for a couple minutes in some of the later levels. It also lasted only 1 hour for me. Hence, I think it's too easy and short, the main reasons for my negative recommendation.
Some comparison to other similar games
In comparison to other games like it on Steam, Nice Way is a solid one. In fact, Silent Tweets is currently the only other one (that I could find) and it looks like it is an unmodified asset flip of the White Peas pack. However, in comparison to e.g. mobile game Peas Puzzles Physics, which currently has 400 levels and 3.5/5 rating, Nice Way is utterly outclassed. As such, Peas Puzzles Physics is likely a better game to try if you also play on mobile.
Technicalities and conclusions
C# implementation works well and technically the game is almost as good as it could be. Only, I managed to drive it to halt twice by spawning too many balls and flunging them away from the screen at high speeds. Apparently, they don't get destroyed once they leave the screen - that looks like an easy fix to implement. By the way, there is no music. I was through it in less than an hour, implicating it's a bit too short and easy for its asking price. However, I got it on almost 90% discount. On a nice discount I could recommend this for a single hour waster. Nevertheless, there appears to be better games just like it available on the mobile market. Cute game, but VERY short. There is a lot of expandability possibilities in this game, but in its current state it's a glorified flash game in terms of length. That said, it's well made and most creators of flash games deserved more than the measley ad revenue they got back in the 00s. So I'm okay with coughing up the 50c.

Advertises steam cards to get the attention of collectors like me. Spoiler alert: it's false advertisement.
