I didn't go very far in the game with the patch and I have to say, I have a really mixed feeling about it. I like the idea of having a original voice acting in English for a Visual Novel and not rely on the "Yeah let's use Japanese voice actor like VN we like". But here, the result feel amateurish. Too amateurish. The different Voice Actors don't use professional studio and don't use the same hardware and you hear that clearly. You can hear a bit of echoes and statics, you can hear the microphone stopping recording between words of the same sentence. And I don't know what happened during the mixing but some sentence are way too weird to hear, some of them are really chopped, like if it was a synthetic voice. And there is the Acting itself, it clearly lack of a good direction. The way the sentence are delivered don't match that much with what they are saying and is often a bit too overacted. Not downright overacting, but just enough for that "anime" feeling that is not really pleasant to the ear. I know doing a voice acting for a game is really a tough challenge and I don't want discourage anybody in this project to try. But In its current state, I can't recommend this patch.
