This was probably my least favorite chapter because it makes you feel evil. But it is essential to the series I think. You get to see the Chef's POV. Still fun and challenging. Good soundtrack.

Chapter 3 of Snail game with snail memes at a snails pace. Once again again it has professional looking pixel art and fun puzzle gameplay. Music as always is a banger and nice to listen to. It's fun, short and cheap $ wise!

Another banger! Honestly one of the best text parsers I've played, just short. Puzzles are logical and fun to figure out, and there are many quality of life enhancements to make playing the game enjoyable - often missing in the text parser genre. Great series and I can't wait for the conclusion. To the dev - please keep making adventurer games! I am sad the series is almost concluded :(

The third installment in the Snail Trek series picks up right where the previous part left off, but with a bit of a twist. I won't spoil it for you, but make sure you've played parts 1 and 2 before playing this one to be able to appreciate the setting of this third part. As I've come to expect of this series, the puzzles are logical and the game is not overly difficult, but the story flows nicely. The graphics are once again awesome if you like retro gaming. The music is not retro, but definitely fitting for the setting. I may sound like a broken record here, but I can only recommend this part as much as the previous ones!

Things in parts 1 and 2 went from bad to worse.... first the captain died, then you bent the ship, and then it turned out that the planet had a nasty surprise waiting for you! In part 3, you find out just how badly you've messed up... The bad guys spill the beans while they have you at their mercy, and (you, the player), start to wonder if perhaps you've been looking at this all wrong. Yes, the story goes from good vs. bad to shades of grey, as you trick your ex-shipmates into divulging information, and enact the final diabolical plan!!! As part 2 expanded on part 1, part 3 similarly expands on part 2. You can visit (indeed have to!) all the previous locations, and there's a bunch of new activities to do. the text parser really shines in part 3, as you manipulate the surroundings with ease (having had training in parts 1 and 2). This one took me about 25 minutes to finish, as I'd got the wrong end of the stick about something... Getting the other achievements though has proven too tricky, so I'm two short of 100%. I think I must have been playing it for a good 75 minutes or so before I gave up trying. Perhaps you might have better luck than me?

The third chapter of the Snail Trek saga continues directly after chapter 2 where the snails were taken captive by the evil aliens who seek to destroy the snails. Interestingly enough, you actually play as one of these aliens rather than the snails. It's as good as previous chapters and I can't wait to play the conclusion in Chapter 4!

Well, this it the third episode of Snail Trek, so go buy the first two first then this. Episode three has a neat twist, which I enjoyed, and the puzzles and story got even more interesting. So far this series has proven to be very fun, can't wait for the conclusion. I'm not really that into text parsers but this particular one is so forgiving and friendly it makes me want to keep going.

I love the puzzles in this series, they're varied and interesting, not too hard but not hand-holdy either. And I'm really enjoying the more polished SCI style, it give a load of atmosphere to the game despite the quirky story and characters.

This entry was slightly more difficult than the previous two and you no longer have the option of playing different characters. Overall though my pro/meh/con list for this chapter is basically the same as it was for chapter 1 and 2: Pros ----------------------------------------- -Super classic early Sierra Online-esque style text parser interface. -Incorporates modern quality of life updates (text autocorrect, in game hints). -Good music. -Can die like in classic Sierra games but has built in autosave and retry functions. -CRT emulation is nice touch for the nostalgia factor. -Classic use of finding stuff in a cupboard and using a lantern a la Sierra classics! -Found out you can use shift key to walk faster without having to change speed in settings. Meh. ----------------------------------------- -Extremely short approx 40 min. Cons ----------------------------------------- -No major complaints! You can pick up the whole series for under 3 bucks so if your interested in playing I suggest grabbing the bundle. Im off to play the final chapter!

Chapter 3/4 - just read the game's title, did it make you chuckle, even a little? After seeing all 4 chapters' names, I had a good feeling about the adventure to come and I was not disappointed. This "tap and type" (although, you can point and click in some cases too) game is very enjoyable and the text parser works quite well. Explore the scenes, but also explore the text parser - the tab-complete, auto-correction and up-arrow-for-prior-input are all a real nice touch. Funny and well worth the about 1 hour of entertainment it provides.
