I seen this kind of game design a lot, and it's cringe by now, I'm not talking about idle, I'm talking about random luck of the draw where you can kill a mob, repeatedly, for 1 minute or 20 hours, with no guarantee you'll get something actually useful.
And I'm not even tounching on the overall design of everything else, it's all RNG, luck of the draw, it's an idle game that you can't go idle, otherwise you can get a rare item, villager or champion pop up and leave your village.
A game like this would be 'fine' 25, 30 years ago, nowadays gamers deserve better and developers should do better.

very very repetitive, just a couple of mechanics, and (at least withing the first 30 hours) there seems to be little if none strategy and combos between the different classes

After playing for 130+ hours, I highly recommend this game. Once you get to know fully how to play the game, you will come up with a good strategy and how to build your team. In the post-ending, I also decided and play my team with a Damage Reflection build similar to the guide I saw online. It was the best build so far to conquer Mystic Dimension and I'm currently at Level 1520+.
I got the game on sale for less $2USD so it's really a good deal and fun to play idling while playing other games.

This game is [b]definition of addiction[/b].
Easy to learn, hard to master but still so much fun as it gets progressively more complicated, a little slow but more strategic.
On my first "feel", I had the game running for 17 hours constantly. You can even farm XP/items while idle.
If it's on sale, [u]do not hesitate[/u]!
