Elbub is single greatest game i have EVER played. No game can even match the level of this elite high level game

My experience with this game is explained in two words. Random. Uncomfortable. Sure it has some qualities to it like artstyle but, I immediately found this irritating more than enjoyable in the first 10 minutes.

Okay. so It is pretty, but i have terrible coordination so it was frustration. just frustration. 18 minutes of just me having an acid trip and not knowing what I'm doing. But good job otherwise. its very smooth.
The Controls Ruin The Game
I want to start off by saying I like the game, but I don't like the controls which is why I can't recommend it. The controls are a big deal in games, it can even make or break some of them. It's interesting to play, but I feel like it would be too easy for someone to have a hard time playing it. It's not because the game is hard, it's because it's hard to control where you're going. It's such a big thing now especially for indie games that people say something like "Well that's just part of the game, it's supposed to be like that." I would agree on certain titles that's very true and they wouldn't be where they are without wonky controls. However I don't like how it's used as a crutch for every other game to get away with shotty mechanics. It makes it hard for the user to play and takes away from the overall experience. This is even more the case since this game is about navigation. All you do in this game is use the static bubbles to follow the ribbon to it's endpoint. This gets harder because the ribbon splits off into different directions sometimes and if you choose the wrong one you have to backtrack. If you collide with a static bubble it pops meaning that you can't use it again. Using the bubbles to move is already awkward, but now you have the addition of losing bubbles to move when launching yourself too far away from the other bubbles is already too easy to do when you get to maps that are more open. It's just a mess and I don't like it. If you like to struggle I guess this could be for you.
Pros:
+Atmosphere +Style +Relaxing and casual
Cons:
-controls -Awkward physics

I don't like to give thumbs down for technical reasons, but Elbub is really unplayable on my system (8th gen i7, Intel graphics). A big problem is that you cannot adjust the resolution. Even if it does start up then in native resolution it is laggy to the point that you can barely navigate. I say "if", because just as often it as it does start up, it doesn't start up. There are no error messages, it just doesn't work. The problems are compounded by a painful control system that according to other reviewers is glitchy even with a video card. I understand that this is an indie art game made by a solo developer so resources are limited, but i buy a lot of similar games on Steam and none of them have been as broken as this one. Do not buy this game if you are on a tablet or laptop with internal video. Even if it works you will be sorely disappointed. If you are lucky enough to have a video card... well, i can't recommend it either. I didn't get the sense the game was calming or peaceful.

Very hard game with very unusual controls, but fun if you don't mind that. I wouldn't really call it "relaxing" as the description of the game says, though. It's a little bit more intense/difficult than the description implies and I think calling it relaxing is doing it a disservice by making players expect something different. Would be nice if it wasn't controlled with the mouse because turning 180 can be a pain (literally, with an RSI injury) and if you don't do it fast or accurately enough you lose track of where you are. If there are keyboard controls I couldn't get them to work. Overall its not really my thing but the game costs as much as a turn on a crane machine and I got 20 minutes of fun out of it so I'm not going to complain :)

Fun game. Controls took a little getting used to, but it was completely fine by the time I had finished the second level. I think it's a fun, colorful experience and worth the $2 USD if you're interested in a short experience with pleasant visuals and music.

A small cute game that revolves around a single mechanic - hold down the mouse button while aiming at a bubble to fly towards it. There are 8 levels which get a bit more challenging than they may look if you go for the time trials since you'll have to learn the levels well enough and manage your momentum considering your angle and inertia. I do enjoy movement-based indie games so it was fun for me to play through this.

This game controls very poorly. As you may be able to see in the video the camera jerkily moves and becomes distorted as you click on a bubble and move towards it, which makes the game very unpleasant to play and control. The reticle also flashes on and off when you are clicking and movement feels very glitchy and unnatural overall. This is a problem because there is literally only ONE game mechanic, which is left clicking on bubbles to move. I bought this game on a whim because I had 90 cents in my steam wallet but I asked for a refund, I don't think half baked games like this should be on steam.

In Elbub, you are a bubble. You move by holding your mouse on other bubbles, following a path that would make Rainbow Road veterans weep, with the end goal of reaching a big bubble. There's no real rhyme or reason for why you are doing this, and while ordinarily that would be fine with me... this game needs more substance to get away with throwing me into a bubble world and leaving me to float. It's not particularly intuitive to play, either. The mouse controls are fiddly at best, and even if right-clicking toggles a "psychedelic mode"... it's not really enough to make up for the fact that playing this game just isn't that fun. Holding down on a bubble sends you vaguely in the direction of the one you clicked, but because of... something in the game physics, you easily wind up off course and out of the game world, forcing the level to reload. It gets old rapidly. So over all, this is certainly a weird title. If you, like me, will try anything once, well... I can't really compare this to anything except for the freakishly niche DS title "Soul Bubbles." It's certainly got that going for it... but on the other hand, it's not even relaxing enough to be a game to wind down with, and I can't justify paying more than a few cents for it as a result (just in my personal opinion!) It's not particularly... fun, and I say this as someone that plays Walking Sims. My standards are low. Overall I just can't personally recommend this one!
