It's a fun one button game with a good soundtrack. It's all about patience. Like the description says, maybe you will learn something about human condition, or maybe not, it's up to you.

Lonely Astronaut is a beautifully simple yet deeply engaging space adventure. With just one key, you navigate through the cosmos using your jet pack to propel you within the constraints of gravitational pulls. Your mission: evade menacing asteroids and collect objects that come in two flavors—those that boost your existential value points and others that recharge your defense detonation ability. Deciding when and where to use this power becomes a critical part of your strategy. The game's brilliance lies in its elegant simplicity and strategic depth. The choice of different skulls offers unique game-play experiences, ensuring there's something for every type of player. Combined with its captivating visuals and immersive sound design, Lonely Astronaut provides a truly stellar gaming experience that perfectly balances accessibility and challenge. If you're seeking a cosmic escape that's easy to pick up but hard to put down, this game is an absolute gem.

A simple game that you feel like you can master within seconds. And then you die. And you die again. And you continue dying. And you love it but hate it. Check out this video for game play and impressions. Pros: Fun! Simple! A good waste of 20 minutes or so. Lots of extra options to have some fun with. Cons: Won't last you too long. Some unfair mechanics. Controls could use a little more customization. Overall, I reccomend it based on the price point. Just be prepared to have an immense hatred of asteroids when it's all said and done.

Lonely Astronaut offers a surprisingly fun and nuanced control system where timing is everything. It truly has everything I want in a game. Interesting mechanics, space, dead things, and a deep rooting parable for my own loose footed mortality and the cycle of life. I definitely feel my existential value increasing when I play this game.
