Why is this game causing my steam overlay to glitch so much, I literally can't play because endless overlay messages are repeatedly appearing on the screen. The combat seems really boring and tedious.

The visuals are immaculate, but it's too obvious this game wasn't designed with PC in mind. The controls feel off. The sensitivity options are all preset like on console, so they don't suit mouse movement. "Fast" is too fast, "brisk" is just a bit too slow, and there's no in-between. Also, who puts the pause menu on the Tab key and leaves Esc completely unused?
Buy it if you like the franchise, but be ready to get annoyed by the controls. Seriously, it's 2025, not 2010. It shouldn't be that hard to implement proper control settings, even for a port.

Getting a better PC made the game unplayable for me now somehow and the solution I found just gave me another issue, 10/10 game, get Pirate Warriors 4 instead

Great open world game. DLC is kind of trash just because no other character moves as freely as Luffy does, but it does provide great narratives to the over all story. I wish there was an ending where Luffy let's Isaac nuke Mariejois.
