Seems like a great idea. We would really like to use this program as part of our Chinese History classes. Unfortunately, unlike many games, this is not compatible with Oculus Rift (it doesn't claim to be but most are that don't claim to be). The 'player' get's stuck in the floor and can't access most signs or controls. Too bad, I suppose we'll have to wait until we decide to invest in an HTC Vive. Until then, warning to anyone counting on Oculus support for this very interesting software. Please know, this 'not recommended' review is only for Oculus Rift users. It looks like this program is great if you have a Vive.

The price for this software really needs to be reduced or even offered for free. This is not a quality VR experience at all. The performance is absolutely atrocious because the max frame rate seems to be locked at 45 fps with an extremely high reprojection rate. Using the flashlight causes shadow flickering and drops the frame rate even further down into the 30s. This happened to me using an RTX2080 and an i9 processor. There are also no graphical settings. Another thing is that you are placed lower than the virtual floor and there is no way to adjust the height. As far as the experience, there are only eight caves where you just stand around listening to a brief historical background for each one. Overall, I cannot recommend this VR software at all.
