I honestly see no good reason that I should spend longer writing this review than the "devs" spent making this game. Here, then, is my deeply-considered analysis of Station 228, a.k.a. Lost Base Escape 2: GameGuru. GameGuru. GameGuru. GameGuru. GameGuru? GameGuru. GameGuru?! GAMEGURU! GAMEGURU!! GAMEGUUURUUUU!!! Hey, 52,858 of you currently follow the "Hodor Review" curator page, so clearly your standards of reviewing are pretty rock-bottom anyway. Then there's stupid turds like me who repeatedly fork out fifty cents a pop for "games" like this. We truly do reap what we sow, fuckers. Verdict: 1/10.

Raw gameplay and ugly graphics but what to you expect fot such an price? Game works fine and there are some good, oldschoold rhytms in there. I like it. And no - it's not asset pack bought in unity store and game made in 10 minutes by lazy pseudo-devs. It's gameguru, if you don't know what gameguru is, simply don't buy it to write negatives afterwards.

It's short, Less than an hour of play time. But given the price paid it was fine. it's a Game Guru engine game and worked well enough without issues. Can't really compare an indy game like this with triple AAA titles that have multiple millions and a whole office of staff to work on. This is a straight forward run and gun game made by a few people in their spare time. Sure the engine has it's limitations with the visuals, but they're adequate for this type of game. And for that, let's give the developers credit. They started it, and finished it. Most people just talk how they'd like to make a game. For all the challenges, gameguru lets you do that. Make a game, release a game. And they posted it. There's a lot of uptight complainers out there, but that says more about the reviewers than the game.

First off, based off of the screenshots alone you should know what you're getting into. This is NOT going to be a good game by any means, the enemies look like wanna be necromorphs from the Dead Space series. Knowing this I didn't mind spending $.49 so I could show my friends and laugh/judge the absurd experience we were all about to share. Enemy placements are poor and their pathing is worse, most of the time you are shooting twitching statues. First level you can pretty much kill everything no problem EXCEPT for two random soldiers, which instead of shooting the "aliens" in the room they wait for you to kill said "aliens" and almost instantly murder you. Besides the random "alien" enemies the game hurls at you, you fight the two soldiers, 3 floating robots, a MINOTAUR, and that's it. 5 levels if that's what you want to call them with the sole purpose of "returning to the family" and the big payoff after all this is a poorly cropped screen saying "You return to the family". as my friend who watched me play this said "Garbage, Garbage, Garbage". but also at least a 7.5 out of 10

Played through it in less than 30 min. Would have been shorter without the numerous crashing... What can I say about this game? It is garbage. Pure and utter garbage. It is like Narko Games picked up the shit stained torch from digital homicide and just kept on going. Terrible graphics, gameplay, enemy placement etc! Avoid having to make a refund request and just skip this game... Hell... Skip the publisher through and through.

I loved the game. There wasn't too much to it, I beat it twice in a row when I played it, noting that I got myself killed once as well. The weapons are really well-crafted and interesting in design, the crowbar's classic, but the futuristic shotgun and dual machine pistols are swell. The monsters are exciting and the environment is ominous, I'm pretty sure they're base assets from a game creator engine, as I've seen most of them in other low-cost independently made first-person shooters. I've played a lot of games that involve the level of detail and purpose as this game holds. They're notorious for having bad reviews, all, and people consistently show hatred and outrage at the kinds of products that are made in the fashion that this game is made. So, I liked it. It was fine, I enjoyed playing it. I wouldn't recommend it, but it is only a dollar, so no harm either way.

This is a gameguru game with all its flaws. Gametime around 40 minutes. It is sometimes buggy, but i have to say, it is better than new usual games here on steam with this engine. The dev put really some effort in it, it has music and soundfiles, loading screens, a short intro and an extro screen. I had fun with the game and because it is cheap, i recommend it.

It's Game Guru vomit, plain and simple. A test game that should have been left forgotten on a developer's hard-drive. Instead, it's here, asking for your money. Developer - underneath the Game Guru everything, there might be some potential in you yet. I noticed you included a sound trigger which is evidence of at least making use of features provided by Game Guru, you mapped out the levels which is evidence of at least a basic attention to design. Give Unity and some FPS assets a go and you might begin to succeed. Failing that, removing this from Steam to salvage your reputation is probably the 2nd best thing.
