Good game. I've played most of the series and have enjoyed them. This one was long which I liked.

Had trouble getting this to run. Kept getting an error 51, turns out that Cogeco Security interferes with it. If you run into this problem you can temporarily disable the Deep Guard and the game will run

I'm not accustomed to playing hidden object puzzle games, unfortunately, the genre does not seem to hit the mark for me. The story was hackneyed cheap middle school fantasy which made it difficult to stay engaged. Despite my initial reservations about going into the genre in the first place, there were some redeeming qualities. The atmosphere was nicely crafted and I think the atmosphere is probably the point of these games. The visuals were detailed for what it was and it almost even made it immersive for my experience. The music was my main highlight, adding a pleasant auditory backdrop to the game.
The mechanics were straightforward and became repetitive over time. The puzzles and hidden object scenes were well-designed and were pleasantly forgiving.
While the game didn't captivate me, it was still a well-crafted atmosphere with enjoyable music. If you're a fan of hidden object games and enjoy the witchy fantasy storylines I think you'll find enjoyment here.

You play as Jane, who hunts Others with her adopted brother Jace. Jace was cursed by one of the Others, which are sort of witches. Others have been plaguing mankind for some time. You have managed to track down the Other who cursed Jace so long ago. But she is also hunting you…
The plot is thrilling, the minigames entertaining, and the HO scenes are fun. Worth the price.

Your adopted brother Jace was attacked by a being known as an Other as a young boy and you are trying to find a cure for his disease. You have found the Others world and entered into it. There is friction between humans and Others because they are feared for their powers.
This is quick paced HO game with very few HO scenes and many mini puzzles. Game is a good length and I found it enjoyable. There is an interactive map for fast travelling which shows active areas. Bonus chapter folllowed on from main story.
Each scene has a hidden raven in it and you can go back and track down the missing ones in the extras page. All collected ravens will give you another HO scene. The extras also shows your achievements and has other mini-games.
An entertaining game to wile away your time. 7.5/10
