Not one of my favorite Gamehouse games but not the worst. Game play was more juvenile with an adult theme...felt like playing some of the first Emily (delicious) games before they started becoming enhanced with more activity.

I bought this game despite having never watched the show it's based on, mostly because the game company lost the license, so it was the last chance to pick it up. So the review isn't even going to be particularly relevant going forward, but still... I would describe gamehouse plots as sitcomey in the best ways. Properly insane, dramatic, occasionally actually funny, and influenced by 90's and 2000's comedies (i.e, not 100% generic formula). This game leans very heavily into the most generic jokes and situations that were probably heavily dated back in the 60's, when the actual show was on the air. It's absolutely fucking insufferable. Gameplay? Annoying all around. A lot of malignant architecture placed specifically to make your character take the long way around and waste your time. Gameplay elements that are never explained (pick up items that look like background elements for bonus points, for instance). None of the improvements you can purchase explain what the actual in-game effect is. Anyways. Gamehouse has plenty of similar games with better storylines, better humor, better gameplay. Avoid. I'm refunding this one.

It is good to have in your library especially if it is on sale. The game is a clicker which can become really hectic but the good thing is that it has a beginner mode for the slower players. Buy one of the Game House games and if you like it you could buy the whole bundle.

Another lovely series from Gamehouse Original Stories. Beautiful scenery and love all the characters' personalities. Each of them have their own cuteness and sweetness. Hehe~ the stories are very funny. Really enjoy the game. Hopefully The Love Boat - Second Chances is coming to Steam as well. Cheers.

Fun and relaxing. Love this game and the love boat characters are spot on. I like that you can turn the music off and adjust volume of sounds. You can also adjust the difficulty level, which is a nice feature. Cute story line as well!

This game follows the same formula as the other GameHouse time management games. You have several stages and each one happens in a different setting, so you have different items to prepare and serve. The Love Boat is based on a TV show of the same name, but I can't say I have seen it. It's not from my time haha. The jokes are terrible and the plot is dreadful. The Angela and Emily subplot was the worst for me. Yet, I liked the fact that the stage changes were not linear as the other GameHouse games of this genre (each 10 levels is a different setting). Since this was a cruise trip, stages would change according to where the cruise was.

Good play and easy mastering. The story is cute and the music relaxing. Some success are a bit tricky to get. I think of level 30 that asks for a perfect score (think about having nothing in your hands at the end of the level!) and the gathering of all the mice (think about selecting them in the diamonds menu). Luckily, the developers answer the questions if we have trouble. I think I'll always recommend these games! If you want something easy and stress free, here you go!

Apart from the annoying theme song of the love boat, I still enjoyed playing on a cruise ship. All the different parts of the boat made it interesting and don't forget the different locations too. The only thing that put me off was the ridiculous laughing during the cut scenes and not even being that funny to be honest, luckily it's an option to turn off and made it more bearable to play. Love how Emily and Angela is also part of the story, bonding as sisters and all the drama that goes with it. The story in general is good, lovely characters but also the challenges are fun and the achievements are easy to obtain as well. I would recommend it due to the fact that it's different from only running restaurants, this game has a variety!!
