KARAKARA2 Reviews
KARAKARA. It is the sound of aridity. It is the sound of dry asphalt and sandy winds. It is the sound of relentless sunshine, as well as the sound of a withering race.

There is just something about Karakara that I enjoy, it's simple and relaxing with some dark undertones. Karakara 2 is much more of a harem than the first game, and I thought was just a touch worse, straying a bit further from the grim world and getting a bit more lost in the harem fantasy. I did enjoy it all things considered still. Similarly to the first game, the adult content here is a bit weak and the game is very short, but an engaging story nonetheless.

Well, compared to the first game, it's not that great, because there's less H images and feels somewhat cheaper overall.
And I'm very disappointed with the hangover ending.
However, the girls are adorable.
Definietly needs a sequel with a decent ending, because without it, it feels like an unfinished product.

I love this game and I love this series. The story, the music, the characters, the UI and the amount of care this game has is incredible. Please don't lose your chance of playing it.
I don't have anything else to say.

a surprisingly wholesome and well paced Visual Novel.
It's great. And you should go through it cuz the girls are all really adorable. The VAs also hit spot on for their roles almost always.

This is a review for the sequel of a game that was simply mediocre. A wonderful world that went relatively unexplored mixed with an overall decent slice-of-life story, but riddled with major problems in character consistency and a pretty awful final reveal. This sequel manages to both improve upon and the opposite, a feat I didn't think was possible, but in the end, I think the negatives outweigh the positives here.
In chapter 3, we're introduced to a new girl named Rebecca. We get a lot of world building here, our protagonist Leon is apparently actually quite the rare specimen after the Disaster wiped out most humans, and a large number of women want to be his wife. He rejects these offers, naturally, but one comes right to his doorstep, and he gives her a chance for one week.
Now, this chapter wasn't bad, it was just average. About at the same level of the other two from the previous game. Until the final reveal. I didn't think it could get worse than Aisha's reveal in the first game. Boy was I wrong. Not only does Rebecca's reveal almost completely destroy the character you come to know in the chapter, it manages to be absolutely ridiculous in how it's executed as well. Although we do get a nice scene with some thieves wanting to kidnap Leon, there's not much else to like about it. The whole scene is executed extremely poorly. It might be just me, but I had no intrest in it at all.
Chapter 4, while still suffering from Rebecca, manages to be the best chapter yet, introducing Mari, a ninja who serves as the diner's guard from now on. Although her chapter is somewhat shorter, it's a million times better than anything before it, and even manages to include some action into itself. Although Mari is an awesome character, it does suffer from length issues, and the old characters have almost completely changed in their personalities, notably Lucia, and the events near the end, while fun, are left bizarrely unexplained, I really felt this chapter ended way too early.
Overall, while Mari is an awesome character and her chapter is filled with wonderful moments, Rebecca's chapter and the lack of consistency overall in characterization of the others just lean me towards negative. I'll probably play the next game solely for more Mari, but other than that, there wasn't much to enjoy here, unfortunately.

It's cute, but the story's kinda meh and the translation clearly isn't great considering the amount of mistakes in the text.. I don't regret buying this but I can't help but feel that it's lacking and hasn't reached its full potential as a game.

I really enjoy the game, creating a lot of tension and made me emotional most time's considering i'm 2 years late to write this review .... ^-^ i hope there will be another one that comes out soon. This really makes you wonder what the true ending will be and story's that is still left undiscovered behind this game.

This is the sequel to the first KARAKARA game, and adds two new girls to the mix. I'm going to guess that in the end the protagonist will simply marry all of them... kind of like Nekopara and that protagonist having six Catpanions...
Anyway, the story is decent enough, there are no choices, and the art is... cute.
Also the story ends with a cliffhanger, so hopefully a KARAKARA3 is coming sometime soon...
Oh, and there is also a patch for this game. I do not have it, so I cannot say if it adds anything to the storyline.

NGL, this VN is kind of a stinker. It doesn't help the story leaves on a cliffhanger and almost 7 years later there is no sign of a sequel. I expected more, what I got in both games was a boring story that goes nowhere. This entry also lacks any kind of achievements, I get it, you really don't do anything besides reading text so there isn't anything to achieve in the first place but it would be still nice to have nonetheless.
