I have been quite involved in this game so take my review with a grain of salt.
We have been playing this game in big international couch co-op parties and every time it has been a blast! There is enough content for multiple parties too. And when the story of about 50 levels gets completed, there is steam speedrun leaderboards and the co-op to mess with.
While the game might not be perfect in every way, I'm gonna give it a thumbs up for the good times!

My Experience
I'm a big fan of co-op stealth games, although there aren't all that many around. My co-op partner and I had a lot of fun recently playing Aragami 2 on Microsoft's GamePass for PC. This particular game reminded me of Moonshot - The Great Espionage, a game I played and had a good time with last year.
Unlike Moonshot, there doesn't seem to be a way to incapacitate enemies for the duration of the level in Haste Heist. However, you do have the option to trip them up on a banana peel (briefly stunning them), or lure them away to go and eat a delicious donut (off of the floor, haha).
Haste Heist is also generally good at giving the player(s) the information necessary to make good stealth decisions. You can generally tell when you'll be seen and how much noise you are making when you make the risky decision to sprint.
Where the game fell apart for us was with the bugs. When you are spotted, enemies madly dash around the level looking for intruders. This is fine, and makes sense. However, these previously patrolling enemies will sometimes then park themselves in front of doors that you are required to pass through in order to complete the level. On other occasions, previously patrolling enemies will get stuck repeatedly going up and down the same staircase between two floors after responding to an alarm. Lastly, we recently made it to the end of the yacht level only for our characters to pop out on the left side of a staircase and get stuck with no access to the exit rowboat. We restarted the level, but this happened again! When a game is slow and methodical by nature, having to restart a level due to bugs is particularly painful.
The "bones" of the game are solid, but I just can't recommend it in its current state (at least to be played in co-op). However, if stability was increased I might end up having a good time here (despite still wishing that there were a few ways to incapacitate enemies for the duration of a level).

If you like Deadbolt then you probably like Haste Heist. The gameplay is quite similar. The only big difference is that in Haste Heist you only sneak without attacking your enemies. So you try to finish levels without getting noticed. Therefore you sneak and hide in the shadow or behind objects. You also can run. But this produces sound as in Mark of the ninja and your enemy will hear you.
I only played a short time but already have the feeling that this game will keep me interested much longer. This is usually not the case for most new games. If I will change my mind then I will change this review. Hence if you still read this review you know I still like the game.
Furthermore the pixel graphics are very welcoming and nice. All in all this game feels very polished and I can recommend it to fans of 2d stealth games where you have to be cautious in order to finish the levels
