Warning: Asset Flip!
Immortal Heroes is an asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The Russian asset flipper stole a basic template for a Ren'py visual novel minigame and published it on Steam as if it was a full game, taking the work of others and trying to scam people into paying them money for a free Ren'py clicker minigame they didn't even make themselves. The minigame they ripped off is a basic action clicker intended to act as filler in crappy Ren'Py fanfiction e-books. You are presented with a picture and you have to click as quick as you can to make it go away. That's all there is to this asset flip trash. azimuth team have a known history of trying to scam people into paying them money for someone else's work, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. One example of azimuth team doing this is Dungeons of the dead, which is really the "2D Roguelike Tutorial" asset, written by the actual developers, Unity Technologies. Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just point and click stuff like a browser/Flash game. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here. Some of the defects in the game can be attributed to the choice of using the video game construction kit/toolset, Ren'Py. This is a very poor quality toolset sometimes used by amateur/unskilled developers as it doesn't require advanced game development skills, but unfortunately has very limited capabilities. It's usually reserved for making completely crap amateur fanfiction e-books for polluting Steam, but Azimut couldn't even manage that. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 7 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from (over 9,000 completely free titles), the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. Immortal Heroes is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend.

This was awful, even for clickers. Not worth the wear and tear on keyboard and mouse.

Easy, but a little tedious 100% achievements. Just click fast and long.

Very poor clicker game with absolutely no point to play - based on a limited Visual Novel engine, although most features like auto-forward and skip don't work and saving is pointless. Most of the settings-menu is not working - very few and unprecise cut sprites over unfitting backgrounds - you just have to "defeat" endless random enemies by clicking. The progress ("health") bar moves back so fast that winning without an auto-clicker is barely possible later on - the soundtrack is decent but way too short

I believe that, in the deepest layer of hell, there are lot and lots of computers, and everyone is forced to play this game. Even being an achievement junkie, I almost didn't even finish, and kinda feel bad that I did.

Immortal Heroes is a Clicker Game. The game features a whole 3-4 lines of text, 'infinite?' progression where you click on the monster shown on screen and absolutely negative depth. There are no skills, no upgrade, no gold, nothing. You click on single monster until it dies, you get a dialogue 'Next hard foe!' and the next monster shows up on screen. There is one repetitive generic track and most likely 5-6 different type of asset monsters. Overall, incredibly poor game, the gameplay consists of clicking anywhere in the screen until you get bored.

What is Immortal Heroes? Immortal Heroes is a clicker game. You click to tear your opponent's health down and if you pause they regain health again. And that is all there is. Pros: - Good graphics - Will easily take every top spot at every worst games of all time list - 40 achievements that are rather easy to get... if you can stand the clicking - The game is so bad I can't even stand to write a proper review. So that saves me time, I guess. - You find out how bad it is within minutes. So you can get a refund if you want. Cons: - No incremental / equipment / ANYTHING that is expected from a clicker - Gameplay is worse than that clciker in The Basement Collection. No kidding. - Gameplay is worse than Hong Kong '97 - Gameplay is worse than... everything else - Gameplay is worse than Bad Rats, Big Rigs, Desert Bus... ok, maybe not that one... - You will stop prior to getting 40 achievements because of physical strain. And that is from someone who DOES play clickers all the time! - It actually costs money Recommended: Only if you work at Guantanamo Bay and need new ways to torture your prisoners because waterboarding isn't bad enough anymore
