Very polished wave shooter with a twist. you control 3 creatures that each have a different power, one rapid fires, another can shoot a very powerful energy bullet that can be "bent", and another launches a granade. The graphics are really good, vivid and cartoony, performance was fine on a gtx1080, audio and all around presentation, is quite polished. The game is simple, you are attacked by aliens (that are also fruits), and you can choose which character/weapon to use on the fly depending on what kind of enemy is approaching, if you are hit 3 times, game over. There are a few different enemies, although not that many variations. Game is totally family friendly! But its a little different because you are actually controlling the character, as in, you are standing behind him aiming in 3rd person. Overall a very polished wave shooter, its simple but what it wants to do does really well.

This essentially VR Space Invaders with better graphics and some more variety in game play. It's not ground breaking but the graphics are good and it's pretty fun especially for the price.
Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
So I got this game for $4.49 USD on the Steam Summer Sale. I think it's a great deal at that price. It's a sitting down 3rd person wave shooter, but it's got a unique twist. You're controlling one of three stand still robots and bringing the pain to the flying fruit alien horde. There's only 1 environment and you're trying to get as far as possible into the waves to climb up the leaderboards, both local and global. Each of the 3 robots has a different shooting mechanic. One has a laser type gun which bends according to your motion controller's positioning. Another has a rapid fire mechanic that can slow down depending on overheating I believe. And lastly there's like this grenade launcher type gun which explodes when you want after firing. Fruit aliens fly 180 degrees in front of you. There's a few different enemy types. Tomatoes like to group up in big groups and take all kinds of detours along the way to you. Bananas come quick and fast
TWSS
so you have to shoot them down asap. Watermelons love to gank you with rockets if you're not careful so it's also good to shoot them down as quickly as possible although they take more than a few hits. Oranges are just smaller tomatoes I think. I had fun. This is definitely a mindless arcade shooter that takes getting used to the controls and fast reactions. Aiming isn't as important as much as getting powerups, seeing the enemy, and making sure you have your motion controllers set up properly for maximum fruit carnage, i.e. making a smoothie. Sale Price Rating 7/10. Normal Price Rating 6/10.
