Neverwinter Nights: Wyvern Crown of Cormyr DLC

There are a lot of negative reviews that seem to reflect the reviewers giving up on the jousting situation. This is, of course, a problem. However, let me describe this module beyond that. The story is set in Cormyr and has you start on the family farm, having taken a break from adventuring to help your family. Things go awry. From there you are on a journey of revenge and discovery of various plotting going on in the region. You become a squire, a knight, and then unravel the plots of dangerous enemies. Is it the most unique story? No. However it is a fine adventure. The main town has a number of different shops, sidequests, and companions to choose from. You can have up to 2, so there is flexibility in party composition based on your class choice. There are a number of decent sized dungeon/adventure locations to explore with some puzzles throughout. Ultimately I found the time well worth spent playing through this. It has a different feel from typical Sword Coast environments and there were some interesting set piece locations and battles. Going back to bugs though: 1. I never encountered real bugs with non-jousting horse mechanics. You right-click and navigate to special actions to mount a horse and then speak to companions to tell them to mount up on other horses you have. 2. The jousting bug is there and can be a pain, but since you will be reloading to get perfect jousting results (victories) this issue is blown out of proportion. It is maybe 10-15 minutes of gampelay total. 3. I did not encounter any other major bugs, that is not to say there is not any. None affected my playthrough besides the jousting one which can be worked around. Final non-spoiler Pro-tip: Prior to the final battle you get an item. Feel free to use to help win the battle, it has no effect on the ending whether you do or do not.
