This was a great game for the sale price. There are some aspects that can be a little buggy but it's nothing that ruins the game. The movement controls is mouse only which can sometimes act a bit odd but didn't have much issue after getting used to it. I was able to complete every difficulty with little issue. Most important thing is getting upgrades. I read other reviews saying all you ever do is get one shot but if you get the hay bails and actually use the block, there is no issue with going up against any of the enemies. For higher difficulties I would say the laser tower is the hardest since it seems you just have to zerg it before you die, but still if you have axe upgraded and can get through trees quickly, this again isnt an issue. For higher difficulties it definitely helps to be able to click very fast as it gives the recommended CPS anyway. If you arent getting through something easily it may be good to practice on a lower difficulty. The greatest difficulty I had was actually dying. The last achievements I got were the death ones where you fail and have to restart the level and it took forever to wear the chest down until it was destroyed even when on warrior difficulty. The story is a bit odd and the voice acting is pretty bad and lacks I guess any real emotion for what is happening in the story. Really I wouldn't be able to tell you what the story is really about even after multiple playthroughs. It needs a bit of work. All in all would play again. Would be fun now that I know where everything is to see how fast I can speedrun the game.

QUICK THOUGHTS: Clicker bAdventure starts out well enough but the further in you get, the more glaring the faults and glitches are. Level 7 ended without me advancing and no way to advance either (in fact I got stuck on a non-existent bridge while trying to figure it out and had to exit to the main menu which opened level 8 and 9 in the continue screen), choosing level 8 puts you in the middle of a battle with no way to restart if you die due to the mouse not appearing on the screen to select, and level 9 just drops you through the map. And I swear to god there are so many trees you'll spend half the time trying to find your character in them because he got stuck at one at some point you didn't even notice. While a noble venture kind of worth playing for the integeation of action rpg elements into a traditional clicker title, there's too many bugs and trees to make it worth your interest at this time. The music could be better/better expanded upon as well, not to mention the voice overs aren't that great, not to mention a bit inconsistant in audio qualioty. Hopefully Luminark continues to tighten the mechanics up as time goes on, and doesn't just abandon this project.

I came into this game knowing I'd be clicking a lot because it advertised itself as a clicker game. I just didn't expect it to be this much. Everything has to be done with the mouse. Which is all well and good, except when you're trying to keep that 7cps streak but you have to move the camera by sliding the mouse to the edge of the screen or you have to move to a different location by clicking on the ground, which of course destroys said streak so your damage immediately tanks. It doesn't help that your character gets stuck on everything so you lose precious seconds trying to get him to unstuck. Enemy AI is horribly op and it's not clear when they hit you, which is bad when these things can kill you in one shot and you have to time your shield right or you're gonna lose precious time you could have used to attack it. Overall, pretty tiring and frustrating. Not fun enough for the effort required to play.

has nothing to do with a "regular" clicker game. it is just running around cutting trees from your way killing enemies... pretty boring. nice voice acting though.
