Creepy Road is a pretty good action side scroller game, so now its story time.
You play as a trucker named Flint, after getting back from a delivery he heads home to his town of Dustburg not just to catch the circus but to see his beloved Angelina.
But then as he is driving a psycho bear jumps out and makes him crash his truck, having serviced he must go to the circus and see if his loved one is safe all the why’ll fighting madman and monsters.
Okay so what’s there to like about the game, well to start off the game is hard even on normal but fair, it has very good action and combat, the weapons were fun to use.
The art was very nice to look at, it was all so very colorful, the music was nice and the boss battles were tough it could be a bit bunk some time but you can beat them with time, all so the enemies and bosses were nice to look at.
And lastly I liked Flint he was cool and smart I mean it from the look of him he looks like your typical red neck and you think he is dumbass, but he’s a pretty deep guy.
Okay so what’s there to not like, well to start off with the game is a bit short you can beat it in five or six hours not counting achievement getting.
All so would have liked more unique enemies and bosses to fight same with the weapons. And the game does have some bugs but nothing game breaking, and the platforming did have some problems but nothing too bad.
And lastly I don’t know how I feel about the ending
what he did was selfish but at the same time he did literally goes those hell
so I don’t how feel I about the ending.
So all in all Creepy Road is a pretty good action side scroller game, with some good action, good art, and tough but fair gameplay.
So I recommend this game and I can’t wait for some DLC for the game and a sequel someday.

Huge hordes of enemies. Only have time to kill these creatures. Very interesting to play the game. The game is like a comic, everything looks so lively and beautiful. You definitely should try it.

Metal Slug likely, but it's harder.
Will get bored after few tries.
Control isn't that smooth, standard 2D graphic.
well, don't expect too much for a cheap game.

I am currently still playing this game nearing the end, however the game is amazing. It's cheap and has a pretty good amount of content for the price. It's very well optimized and has beautiful, gorgeous hand-drawn graphics ( beats out Castle Crashers and Viking Squad on hand-drawn graphics ). The world Groovy Milk has created is awesome! It's more difficult than I expected which adds more replayability and value to it for me. ( Gameplay/Review Video Below )
Pros;
Beautiful Graphics
Cool Main Character
Story like Castle Crashers
Replayable
Sounds are Great
Decent Length for Price
Secret things within the Game
Awesome Cartoony Cutscenes
Cons;
No Co-oP ( future hopefully )
No Different Combat Ability's other than Shoot and Throw things
Difficulty Sometimes Angers me XD
Good Length for Price but Could be Longer ( Or add a little gamemode like Castle Crashers )
Overall 100% Great purchase and hope they come out with future updates for the game!

Really inarticulate gameplay. Even if you ignore how imbalanced the combat generally is, it's still generic button pressing.
Unfortunately developers have yet to figure out as a whole that gameplay which involves enemies being thrown at the player in ridiculous swarms, and combat that is just button pressing so basic you could code the computer to do it for you; is not and never will be fun to humans with an attention span greater then that of a young child. Because this is one of those games where, enemies are thrown at the players in perpetual swarms and thus every enemy is meaningless and every combat encounter is meaningless. This is also one of those games where the combat is just you casually pressing buttons to kill enemies, which may be entertaining enough for a child.
There is no dodge or block feature. You exclusively avoid attacks by moving to the left or right, or jumping. Which in a game like Hollow Knight which has a reactive combat system, is fine, but in this game having no real evasion features makes the simple gameplay even more simple and mindless.
Right off the start in the very first level, the player encounters sequences in which the entire screen is flooded with enemies and the only way to fight is to just bounce up and down off the ground to avoid them. And right off the start, the game introduces a bear enemy which moves across the screen over and over while swinging at you. You have no block or dodge feature, you must jump over the bear to avoid it. But the bear comes flying at you far faster then you physically can jump, and you need to be at the highest point in your jump when the bear reaches you otherwise it will hit you because it is that tall. So you just kind of have to jump in advance and hope the timing works out, since the bear moves so fast you cannot jump in response to it moving or you will not be high enough to avoid it. You need to jump blindly in advance, and hope the bear drives by in time for you to clear. If you are in an area where the ground is not flat, it becomes impossible to dodge the bear if you currently have the low ground.
First level, already the enemy design is completely incoherent.
Second level, large cow enemy which fires a gun across the ground and so you have to jump to avoid the shots. But, the shooting last longer then your jump. So you literally cannot avoid the attack, you have to take several little hits from the shooting everytime you land while the shooting is still going on; then jump to get out of the way again. Then there is a sequence where molotovs are being thrown on the ground and each covers half the available ground on the screen, while enemies are coming out from the sides of the screen and enemies are dropping large objects on you from above. And you still have no dodge, the only way to avoid the enemies attacking you from the ground is to jump up into the air directly into the enemies attacking you from the sky. You cannot move to the left or right to avoid the ground enemies, because the molotov fire is consuming most of the available ground on the screen.
Either do not play it because the combat itself is effortless button pressing or do not play it because the combat is extremely poorly designed and lacks any articulation towards making it playable. This game is just, hold the attack button down and jump around; ignoring how pointless the combat is and how little control you have over actually avoiding damage. This is designed to just be played mindlessly, you are not meant to put any effort into dealing damage and you are not meant to question the legitimacy of when you take damage.
Everytime the character picks up an item, he says something. When multiple items are picked up in a row, the characters dialogue overlaps itself. This is obviously an oversight by the developers, not coding the current dialogue to be cut off each time a new dialogue is triggered. But then the developers went and purposely placed multiple items in a row for the player to pick up and hear the character dialogue overlap on itself. This is not a poor design element you can only trigger by doing a specific thing, this is a poor design element you experience by just playing the game the way the developers intended for it to be played. Were they too lazy to fix the dialogue glitch they enabled or did they literally just not care enough to clean it up.

Creepy Road is a weird one, that's for sure.
Pros:
- The game looks really nice, it's got that old timey flash game aesthetic which is what intrigued me to buy it because I used to binge the hell out of those games.
Cons:
- Poor gunplay. Can't really tell when you are damaging enemies. There isn't enough feedback that you are hitting enemies besides a red flash.
- Enemy animations aren't synced very well so it's hard to know when you're actually getting hit
- Poor onboarding. Tutorial is really buggy, epecially after changing any of the control settings. Died 4-5 times in the intro because I was never told that I should throw grenades, especially because it was a 1 screen area so I thought I would've damaged myself by throwing the grenades.

Creepy Road is like stepping into a wild, twisted cartoon world where chaos reigns. The art is next level—like a comic book drawn by a mad genius. Every detail is packed with so much personality, you can’t help but be sucked in. You’re thrown into crazy environments full of traps and enemies, and those boss fights? They’ll have you sweating, testing your reflexes and strategy with each new level of insanity. If you’re into games that do their own thing, Creepy Road is a total breath of fresh air—mixing dark vibes with cartoon charm. Get ready to be hooked on this dark, yet oddly charming adventure.

The style of humor & art in this game are great. Has a very Earthworm Jim aesthetic to it, which I love.
However, the rest of the game lacks horribly.
Poor level design, clunky controls, and bad hit-detection all contribute to this games shortcoming.
It features one of the SLOWEST auto-scrolling levels I've ever seen. You'd think this would make things easier, but quite the opposite, since you can't react to what's shooting at you from off-screen.
The constantly recycled dialogue from all the enemies as they wander the screen is annoying, BESIDES the fact that some of them sound like they've been pulled directly from resources like movies or TV shows.
Additionally, there is no post-hit vulnerability. Thus, if you fall into a group of enemies (even at full health) you will find yourself dead near instantaniously.
Is it worth $10? Unless this caters specifically to your tastes, no.
$5 could be reasonable for the art & animation.
Though, for how frustrating it is, $2.50 is what I personally feel would have been a fair price.

What an absolute disaster of a game, this game is a mess in everything other than its presentation.
The story is kinda fun, and the art style is attractive, reminds of John Kricfalusi style from Ren and Stimpy.
Everything about the design of this game however is inherently wrong, this extends beyond my opinion, it is just simply not a good game.
The controls are incredibly stiff for starters, it is one of those games that requires you to take a second for each action, there's never enough animations to make anything feel smooth, and generally speaking the checkpoints, difficulty, and enemy placement seems random and exaggerated.
It is almost as if the game developers thought they could get away by making an extremely short game by throwing massive groups of enemies at you that kill you in just a few hits.
This enemies get annoying because they're repetitive, and the sound effects that they do almost don't ever stop, making it difficult to even distinguish between their different lines of dialog.
Their attacks most of the times either consist in just charging you and damanging you by hitting you, or alternatively by just shooting at you.
The game screen is such a mess at times however that after a while it gets difficult to even watch the incoming bullets.
The developers of the game didn't even care enough to restrict the player to kill the enemies before moving to the next section of the level.
You can literally get through most prolongued sections of the levels by holding the key to move foward, whilst also holding the key to jump.
You'll literally skip through most enemies.
Not that it matters because there are cases in which the game "locks" you in an specific part of a level only to then swarm you with enemies.
Each weapon feels exactly the same, with varying damage degrees, the animations only change when you're shooting them, and every enemy dies in exactly the same way.
I don't understand how can anybody claim this is a good experience, or a good game, it isn't even like a random mediocre flash game, it just has unbereable, and horrible design at its core.
You can enjoy it, that's your opinion, but you cannot say this game is good for the simple reason that it is inherently incoherent in its design.
This has a beautiful art style but it is a horrible, horrible game, it is only fun when I'm looking at the cutscenes, or at the loading screens...
Whenever I get into the gameplay even the art style of the game gets botched thanks to some horrible animations.
Don't get it, got it on sale, and I'm getting a f***ing refund.

Funny game. It's fun, because it has a bunch of humor and various jokes. Cartoon characters, monsters are very funny. A girl with a self-stick is very much like my girlfriend.
I also want to note that the developers are releasing patches and updates for this product, so this is not a one-time shooter. Developers support life in this game.
