Played for a while this evening in a group of 6 (3v3), and it was a lot of fun. Definitely a well thought out take on prop hunt, where the props can fight back. The visuals really jumped out, surprisingly so. There's still some balance issues, and some glitches, but if you like prop hunt, you'll love horror hunt.

Honestly? Don't bother with this.
I normally enjoy this type of game, especially co-op but Horror Hunt doesn't even work, let alone play, well. The graphics, what you can see of them before the lights go out, are clean and atmospheric. However, within seconds of starting, the screen goes black and the countdown runs out. YOU LOSE.
Again and again and again...
The GUI on all three players machines crashed, if it worked properly to start with. There's nothing you can do at all with this other than float, ghost like, in Spectator mode to look at the pretty locations.
Not sure what game the rave reviewer was playing, but it wasn't this one. Or they're the dev's brother! LOL
Could be an interesting game if the authors can get it to work, but as it is I feel pretty ripped of for buying it.

New Prop hunt game with a twist. Instead of the props being hunted the props become the hunters. Can you escape the area when you cant even trust the chairs in the rooms.

This game seems strongly uninspired. When my friends and I first saw the game, it seemed okay. So, we grabbed it only to discover that it is a buggy mess, fun for a few minutes, and generally the type of game you buy on sale despite it's already low price point.
If you already own GMOD, don't waste your time and cash here.

This is a good game, but it's a new game. There is clearly still a lot of work to be done, but it's a much better version of the traditional prop-hunt. If you're looking for a cheap game to enjoy playing with some friends off and on, this is a good one to pick up. Here are some of my suggestions for the devs:
1. Increase the damage that the Hunted take when shooting random props. Since the hunted take so little damage when shooting props that aren't players, the hunted are essentially encouraged to shoot every single prop they suspect. I would suggest increasing the damage taken from 0.5 to 3; this will obviously require some playtesting, but the hunted should be punished for shooting non-player characters.
2. The prop's nightvision should either be infinite or last longer. It feels really bad to use, and it always seems you don't have nightvision when you need it.
3. The explosive mine from the hunted seems a little out of place. I'm not sure it needs to be in the game. It might be better to change it to a more utility based mine.
4. One of the biggest issues that the props face is that they do little to no damage when they are attacking. This might be intentional, but if it is, it should be more obvious that props are not meant to be attacking regularly. There were many times that I was attacking a hunted, and it seemed I should be able to assassinate/kill them.
5. Hit registration is a problem. As a prop, you don't know whether or not you're hitting the enemy. This leads to a lot of "I'm attacking this person and I think I'm doing damage but I don't know so hopefully they die soon". Definitely needs to be fixed.
Overall, I definitely recommend this game. Support the devs and encourage them to keep updating and working on it. This is definitely a game that I plan on revisiting and playing sporadically in the future.

I would definitely recommend picking this game up to play with 5 or 6 of your friends if you are tired of the toxic environment of gmod. Not a lot of polish but this game has great potential.
Pros:
This game honestly has some of the best lighting I have seen in a very long time. Not only does it set a really good atmosphere it does great job with reflections and shadows. I do wish there was a bit MORE light since a lot of the time it is just too dark! It would be really nice if maybe there was emergency lights or maybe some ambient lighting coming from the outside windows.
The maps are all very well done from the detail to the keyboards to the display of the photocopier it is obvious a lot of time and effort was put into making all of it feel immersive.
The gunplay felt good, recoil, aiming, and fire rate all felt really in tune to what a gun would actually be like. The grenades where amazing and if well time could really turn the tides of a match. The land mines were powerful and in all honesty probably a bit too overpowered because if used correctly they could almost guarantee a kill on one of the props.
Cons:
There was a lack of maps but these are things that will come over time and also one of the four maps was just way too large. When I was playing we had 8 players and it still felt way too big and made it hard to find the clues. The codes would spawn in location that were hard to defend/hide.
The props had a lot of utility but it all kind of seemed pretty weak and could be improved a lot. They didnt seem too do any dmg and the fact there was no real indication that you were doing dmg made most of the time playing prop felt like your only job was to sit on top of a code.
Conclusion:
I can see this game being amazing if a lot of little and big issues being fixed but the problem they will see is the fact that Prop Hunt is a rather unpopular game mode already and the devs will have to find a way to overcome that.
