This DLC adds some solid spice to the main game. I'm (still) not much of a strategy gamer, and rarely play through the games. BSG:Deadlock held my attention enough to convince me to replay the entire game so I could enjoy this DLC -- and I even did it on Fleet Admiral. However, I agree with others that it is well worth buying this DLC before playing the main game the first time. The story in Broken Alliance is no less ludicrous than the rest of this game's story, but we're not here for that. We're here for the gameplay! And the Broken Alliance mission design adds some much-appreciated variety and pacing to the main campaign. Fresh side missions are an added bonus (although they are often too unpredictable to risk any fleets on, at least at higher difficulties). Really erased some of the monotonous moments in the main campaign. Very fun! Thanks for making this.

Very good DLC that adds much needed variety to the main campaign. New missions are well made, provide fun challenge and interesting story and characters. new soundtrack for this game is always a top quality. New ships are nice and useful, albeit Minerva is really fragile for her size - not much of a Battlestar of the line, so overall I find vanilla Artemis much more reliable, durable and cheaper.

Content that adds meaningful replay value to the game, rebalances multiplayer, and is reasonably priced. DLC done right, that's a day one purchase for me. I haven't even tried the new ships yet, but I know I'm going to love them. If you're on the fence, it's 10 bux, that's a large meal at wendy's, you get 4 more ships and some campaign content, and you fund more development of this already awesome game. if you have Deadlock, this is absolutely worth it.

The new missions are interesting and the new ships are pretty great. Imo $10 seems very fair for the amount of content. if you have been enjoying the game so far this is a worth while dlc.

The only DLC whose missions are not extensions of the main campaign, but are integrated into it, allowing glimpses into the fractious colonial politics only hinted at in "BSG: TOS". They are welcome, when playing the base game but more so are the ships included in this DLC more so than any other. If you buy just one DLC, then this is it.

Great DLC that adds a lot of fun new missions to the campaign, the Celestra and Minerva are also amazing additions. Only downside is that you have to replay the base campaign in order to access the missions (unless you bought the DLC first and then played the campaign)

What I like the most about this dlc is that is adds a bit more lore to the political starscape of Battlestar Galactica's twelve colonies in much the same way as Caprica does. There are references to historical periods that have only been touched on.

Consider this a campaign review of both TBA & the Reinforcement pack. If you're buying this you're probably buying both anyway. Adds some much-needed additional scripted missions to the campaign (which are interesting & story-heavy) and adds more ship variety. No spoilers, there is one missions where something dramatic happens when you jump in, and I got completely annihilated. This was a little annoying since there was nothing I could do about it, but I adjusted my deployment formation & had no trouble with it the second time. The ships are genuinely useful for the most part (haven't found much need for ordnance resupply, maybe for nukes, but the armour buff helps) and gives you more options. Assault Raptors are a must-have IMO & I nearly always take the Minerva over the Artemis. Janus's make great tanks & can be devastating nuke trucks as well if you use nukes. If you enjoyed the base game then I believe $10 is a very fair price & a great excuse to at least give the campaign one more playthrough. I personally would have been happy with it even if it was $20, since its probably doubled the hours I will get out of the game.

*sips a cup of Ambrosia* *stares into the star light night* Just beat the game, amazing work. Battlestar Galactica was an amazing ride right to the end. Couple of really good fights in there, depending on your play style you can make almost anything work, my ending was Viper's Of Capprica Elite squadron. Its in the cockpit where makes it or break it in battles. Folks I highly encourage you to get this game and all its DLCs, I would have paid more for it. Only sad part of this game is that most likely there won't be anymore, but I do hope they reboot this game with a bigger budget. I followed the original shows on VHS back in the day 'ya I am that fracking old' Great game Black Labs and Slitherine, I hope this gets to you boys/girls who built this fine work. Thank you for the entertainment, thank you for your hard work in this. Please, just can you make one more series? Perhaps the fall of the 12 colonies? Starbuck, Apollo? Come on... Please? lol 0 Comments

Played a couple of quick skirmishes just to test the new ships out. The Minerva, Assault Raptors, and the Argos honestly were worth the $10 themselves just because it allows for replicating some battles from the show. Essential DLC for anyone who enjoyed the show and wants to recreate battles. The added missions I've not gotten to yet but honestly that's just icing on the cake and there are appear to be some new graphics that correspond to damage, not sure if it's this DLC or part of the overall update, still, it expands to all ships including those in the DLC. My Final Verdict: Pegasus + Galactica vs. 4 Basestars. max difficulty. Pegasus not lost.Galactica still close to max health.Put that in your pipe and smoke it Lee Adama.
