It's really a fun game, even if you're too stupid to play it well yourself. 10/10 c:
Off to a Great Start
The game is quite playable, though it does get a little repetitive. That's OK; it's an Early Release product. I like this a lot because I wrote something very similar back in 2009, but I never pushed it to a public platform. However, I understand and appreciate how much hard work went into this. However, even at this early stage, I would like to offer some suggestions. 1. Allow the player to designate their landing target and give them some kind of cue regarding a recommended orbital pathway to the target. 2. When the LM and the CM are too small to render adequately, put a cue box around them so that the player can still locate them. 3. Always allow the player to zoom to a level where they can *see* the CM. 4. Give the player some autopilot modes to help them navigate e.g. prograde, retrograde, horizontal. 5. Indicate direction to target as well as relative velocity, and add distance and rvel values. 6. Allow the player to remap controls during play as well as only from the main screen. 7. Label everything on the HUD. It's not sufficient to put it in the help section. The game is quite fun as is, but it can be made so much better with a little love. I am rooting for its success.
