Short, tight little game. A good way to kill a few hours if you like bullet hell games.

Radar warfare is an unsual bullet hell. If you played Touhou Project or similar games before, you'll notice some gameplay differences like, being able to move and shoot on every axis and enemies spawning randomly. The new version of the game has controller support which makes the game really great to play with the PS4 controllers. Runs really well on MacOS Sierra.

Its quite primitive. Enemies spawn randomly and eventually start to spam you with attacks until you barely see whats going on. I mean, if you have very good reflexes and attention or want to grind it, then its your choice. You can play it. But I am just certain there is better stuff out there. The minimalist art style wouldn't be an issue if the gameplay was more refined. But for the most part its not.

I cannot recommend this game. I am writing to correct some misconceptions. I keep re-reading the developer's words because he seems like a well-spoken character, but there seems to be so many misleading and outright false statements in the store. In the store pictures, you see a missile with a multiplier, which is actually the temporary shield in the game. As far as I can tell - despite what the store description says - the shield is the only ship upgrade in the game, and I have made it to the first "boss". The store page there are stages, but it is better to call them waves of enemies. The enemies are the same, with some shooting more than others. You are dodging red dots and trying to hit white dots. Avoid the red dots while pointing toward white dots. The store description says defend the base, but there is no base. There are not as many game options as you might expect from looking at the pictures. The store says full controller support, but the game says that the controller's turbo button is the spacebar. The game forgets your level progress, your game settings, and there is just one short music loop. I tried it a few times, until there was a point when the enemies stopped coming onto the screen, but the score kept increasing. Never seen such a glaring gameplay bug. I had to manually exit the game, and I think that will be the last time I play.
