Warning: Asset Flip!
Loot Collection: Mahjong is an asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The "developer", BoogyGames Studios, took the Mahjong Game Engine tutorial/demo/game asset pack from the real developers, SmallBigSquare, changed the name, reskinned it with icons they stole from Blizzard's World of Warcraft (oh I do so hope Blizzard sues!) and dumped the result onto Steam. They're attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else's work.
It gets worse... "Mahjong Game Engine" has already been shamelessly dumped on Steam by BoogyGames Studios:

Take a look for yourself... it's exactly the same game!
BoogyGames Studios has shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab. Here's some examples so you can see for yourself:

The products that result from asset flips aren't "real" games. They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "Mahjong Game Engine" is just a basic demo pack to show people how to make a Mahjong tile matching game in GameMaker Studio, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game, so a copy+paste of it can't be recommended.
Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off.
Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have, and make it harder for gamers to find real games from genuine developers.
Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from BoogyGames Studios.

I thought for a couple of bucks, what do I have to lose? I tell you what I lost... A Couple of Bucks that's what !
I thought I should at least warn you to save your money.
Take two one dollar bills, hold them in one hande and with the other hand light a match to them and watch them burn. You'll get more entertainment out of that than this so called game.
I've played Mahjong most of my life and have to say that this rendition is the most horrible I've ever seen.

In a game that should be insanely simple to animate, they somehow chose to fail so spectacularly at things like shading and perspective that no matter what tile color you choose you can't tell which tiles are open. Somehow this $1.33 game for a desktop is lightyears worse than the cruddy free mahjongg app I have on my $40 phone. I'd be disappointed if it was 50 cents.
