Fun puzzles but for whatever reason this game causes your GPU fans to run at 100% all the time. Just makes me suspicious if there is some bitcoin mining going on because there is no way this game should ever be running at 100% unless you're trying to play it on a computer from the late 90s. Because of the sketchy fan issue I cannot recommend this game.

Cubic is a puzzle game that requires you to turn all the tiles to white in a certain amount of steps. The game is not very long and can be completed in two hours or more. The levels towards the end are quite challenging. It's worth buying at a discounted price.

Great game, excellent graphics, poor control. Originally this game had 16 levels which could be completed in a very short time. The developer has added 21 more levels for a total of 37 levels. These levels can be quite challenging as fewer than 10% of the Cubic players have completed all levels as of the date of this review. At first the controls were extremely frustrating with my cube falling off the playing field frequently (why even allow the cube to fall off??? Starting over should be controlled by the space bar - which starts each level). I finally got much better at the controls by putting my keyboard at a diagonal. If the developer ever wanted to correct this control problem with an update (hint, hint), this game could become stellar!

A really nice game, the soundtrack is good and the gameplay is nice. It's like the old miniclip games with cubes.
OVERALL: 4.5/10
+ Cool game with a simple yet slick look to it. + Great puzzle game concept that can render you clueless in latter levels. - Looks like the dev could have made at least 10 more levels..... - Advertised trading cards that just simply don't even exist !!! WTF Conclusion: I only refuse to recommend this because of the misleading advertisement regarding trading cards, definitely can't back up that ! Other than that this game had good potential.

Cubic is a short, simple and cheap grid-based puzzle game that can be finished in around an hour. I discovered this game through a 90% off coupon which means I didn't have high hopes for this game but it was much more fun than I was expecting it to be. The goal of each level is to get rid of all the coloured floor tiles by stepping on two tiles of the same colour in a row in a certain number of moves. This is a pretty interesting idea that I haven't seen in any other game and the puzzles were decent - I got stuck on a few of them for a while, but I beat many of them on my first try without thinking about them. I feel like there is more that can be done with this concept (the only real new element brought in is teleporters) but for the price you're paying I would say that it's worth it. For me it was worth it since I got it for £0.08!

I got this game only for the trading cards for 10 cents and I was expecting it to be pretty lame. However the game, as simple as it seemed was actually pretty fun, engaging and has fairly decent graphics. There are no trading cards curently in the game, saw someone saying that it takes 2-4 weeks to implement trading cards from the game, considering this game was just released a few weeks ago it's understandable.

Cubic is a logic puzzle game in which you roll a cube to pair colours together, with the objective to finish the game in the least amount of moves possible. The game also features two other interesting features, teleporters and colour mixing. As far as puzzle games goes it's an alright purchase, the music is not bad, the graphics are OK and the game didn't encounter a single bug. Some levels are extremely easy while some are a lot more challenging. What I definitely hated most in this game is the perfect amount of moves needed, it should have had a stars system rating instead. Overall, for $1 it's a solid puzzle game that lasts an hour.

Cubic is a nice, short and casual puzzle game that has nothing new to offer but yeah, it's well realized and although it has its flaws, in my opinion deserves to be played if you like minimalistic logic games. It's also quite easy, although I had to look at the great guide we have here on Steam for some directions xD The game's available both in English and Russian, but you can stick with English even if you don't know it - I'm just telling this 'cos if you have foreign Steam clients like me, you'll have on the game store page a red rectangle saying that the game's not available in your language (Italian in my case) - 'cos there's literally no text in the game xD The mechanics are very simple and it's short, mainly due to the little number of levels (only 16) 'cos as I said they, taken one by one, can be quite difficult in one way or another. The game takes place on a colorful 3D field and as the title says you're a cube, that can be moved either with directional or WASD keys - thank God! Many games don't come with WASD support or they don't have the option to remap your controls and that's quite a pain for a long-time PC player! Every level will have in the upper right side of the screen a required step number - if you reach 0 it's game over, another glimpse of difficulty - and there's a simple but somehow nice soundtrack. Ok, it gets monotonous after two minutes, being honest. Unfortunately, I don't know exactly why but the achievements unlock only when you close the game. It's a bug (?) that other games have too, maybe it's related to a developing thing, I don't know.. as of the end of 2017 it hasn't been fixed so you won't get achievements on beating a level, but you'll get them when you'll close the game itself (so for the Russian achievement you won't earn it by changing the language in game and stop, you'll need to close everything too). But let's go back to the game!! The goal of every level is to connect color tiles and destroy them in a set number of moves. Going deeper, you'll be with your cube on a game board and every square will be colored of a single bright color. By stepping on the red square for instance you'll be red-colored and you'll need to step on another red-colored block in order to get them both white, until the whole game board has been de-colorized. As I said it can be quite difficult, since you can't go around the board but you've got a limited number of moves to do everything :) On the other side, since this game has only 16 levels it's also short once you try and retry again the same level :) Of course, the "emptied"/"whited" blocks will be free and you'll be free too to pass on them without losing your color, in order to get to the same-colored block you detected as your goal. As a funny addition, you'll have always on the left side a "sample" of the blocks you have to eliminate, and their height is proportional to the number of blocks to destroy. That reminded me A LOT of Dr. Mario on the Game Boy.. which I still play today xD What else can I say? It comes for the minimum price, 0,99€, and I bought it on sale while many other players bought it with a -90% coupon so I really think that spending two hours here (or less if you're smarter than me, and you don't leave open games while you're called to work in the neighbouring town and so on) is completely OK. There are free to play games that deserve their 1€/$ and there are games that are way overpriced; this one requires the cheapest amount on Steam, 1€, and it completely met its expectations. Ok, maybe not the "extraordinary mechanics" that the main page offers to us but hey, it's a good simple logic game and everyone loves them xD Although short, offers its challenge and meets its expectations so it's definitely recommended, it will take some hours of your time and entertain you as long as you like puzzle games of any sort :) Feel also free to play it windowed and with a low quality, it runs smoothly and doesn't need much else! :)
