I don't tend to play many horror games, apart from the more action-based Dead Space series, so I found this a good introduction to that world. While it has some repetitive qualities and some clunkiness, and is limited by its point and click style, which is to be expected from a smaller indie game, it generally makes up for it with the atmosphere and tension it creates. I like the way it uses the various elements together to build the creepy atmosphere - e.g. different figures that chase you, different versions of the world, lights and shadows. As the game progresses, these elements continue to snowball, sometimes too chaotically, to help the story build to the climax. The underlying story itself is engaging and interesting, not always mixing perfectly with the horror elements but complementing them well enough. The ending didn't wholly convince me, it felt a bit too convenient and neat, but it still fit well with the themes of the game. At times the lighting and shadows were a bit too dark, which was frustrating, but I think that's the intention of the game design to keep you lost and afraid. The puzzles at times, specially near the end, became a bit too abstract and meaningless, so they were probably the biggest problem with the game. But, overall, I think this is a decent game that kept me engaged and, dare I say it, a bit frightened.
