Grid spaces need to be reworked (larger grid sizes dont align even the tiniest bit with smaller grid sizes, some objects cannot be centered either, like the canopy, pilot seat, ladder and handle objects, etc), game has problems with crashing (it's already crashed like 4-6 times in the little time i have played it) the game has been in early access for the last 5 years, over all a game with potential though, just very broken in its current state and currently not worth getting because of these factors, although even with all these issues i am having a blast making ships but i know that most other people probably couldnt stand how the building system works currently (and with how much the game relies on the building system this is very bad, this is not taking into account the logic systems since i havent used them much yet) so i have to recommend most people against getting this game, although if there is a way to perfectly center objects in the exact middle of the ship when they are the wrong size to be centered please tell me because it's getting annoying

I've been following this game for a long time. While I haven't played extensively, that's mainly because the core experience remains focused on building. The building system itself is incredibly flexible, but despite the high level of customization, most ships end up looking somewhat uniform, even with added details.
I keep wanting to dive in, and I read each update with excitement. What this solo developer has achieved is genuinely impressive. From a player perspective, however, the game still leans heavily toward being a builder with planets, rather than a fully fleshed-out experience.
The survival element is present but fairly straightforward. There is a research system for unlocking new items, though it functions more as a gradual unlock rather than a branching progression system with meaningful choices.
The controls -- both for characters and ships -- are functional but feel a bit abrupt. This is fine for movement but doesn’t quite capture the weight and momentum expected from large spaceships.
Updates arrive steadily at about one per month, though they tend to be incremental. Given that this is the work of a single developer, it's understandable that progress takes time. Still, I can’t help but wonder what could be accomplished with a larger team. At this pace, the game will be nearing completion just as it starts to feel outdated.
Recommendation: Qualified "yes"
It is what it is, and for what it is, it's amazing -- especially considering it’s the work of one person. The builder is excellent, offering tons of creative possibilities. The survival and base-building elements exist, even if they’re relatively simple. Planets are there, though they have a procedural sameness. Spaceships and combat are functional, even if visually the ships lack distinctiveness. While there are only two different weapons, their deep customization allows for plenty of variety. Shields exist but feel more like a foundation for future expansion.
Overall, the game gives the impression of a framework -- solid, well-designed, and full of potential, but still waiting for its depth to be fully realized. If you’re comfortable with that, you’ll likely enjoy what’s already here.

This game is pre-alpha but it's what we all are waiting for in a open space survival game. I can't wait for this game to have a survival mode! Maybe even some servers and mods.
