I just decided to buy seven Mahjong games while they were on sale for less than a dollar. This is the least popular game I purchased, but it has really nice graphics and lets you shuffle the tiles when you run out of moves.
Warning: Asset Flip!
Food Mahjong is an asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The "developer", BoogyGames Studios, took the Mahjong Game Engine tutorial/demo/game asset pack from the real developers, SmallBigSquare, changed the name, reskinned it with a food related icon pack they stole off the internet, and dumped the result onto Steam. They're attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else's work.
It gets worse... "Mahjong Game Engine" has been shamelessly dumped on Steam at least twice already by BoogyGames Studios:

[*] "Weapon and Armor: Mahjong", asset flipped by BoogyGames Studios

Take a look for yourself... these are all exactly the same game!
BoogyGames Studios has shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab. Here's some examples so you can see for yourself:

The products that result from asset flips aren't "real" games. They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "Mahjong Game Engine" is just a basic demo pack to show people how to make a Mahjong tile matching game in GameMaker Studio, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game, so a copy+paste of it can't be recommended.
Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off.
Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have, and make it harder for gamers to find real games from genuine developers.
Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from BoogyGames Studios.

This bought back fond memories of playing Mahjong Games, had all the features mahjong games used to have, ran like a dream , has a good hint system, just like how it used to be, , really nice game.

Decent mahjong game.
It can be a bit hard to see whether tiles are on top of other tiles (shadows aren't very noticeable).
I expected the food images to be themed - such as dessert on one level, fruit and veg on another, etc. But they are all mixed up together.
