Galactic Shipwright is an awesome game for everyone who enjoys building spaceships and loves Space.
I really enjoy building larger and larger spacecrafts every day and I hope that new updates will bring new modules as well to be added to my creations!
Great game!

Amazing graphic. I love block building game such as Terra Tech, Reassembly and others. But I don't like Besiege like building game. This is kind of Beseige like block building game. The diffrence is that Beseige like game is lack of RPG experience unlike Terratech, Reassembly and Captain Forever. Galactic Shipwright has no RPG experience at all.

Galactic Shipwright is an excellent example of what all early access titles should strive to be. Definitely recommended for people who like space and strategy/puzzle games.

Hmmm... ?This game has promise, but what i dont like about it is that you can only made flat, sinlge block hieght, ships, which seems bizarre.
You basically are making a ship silhouette and thats it :/
flying feels heavy and slow reacting thrusters, you press the forward key, it takes about a second or so to react, and then once key is depressed, the thruster continues onb for the same period of time that there was no reaction that was incurred when you pressed the thruster key.
The movement of the ship, alongside the poorly responding keys- verymuch feels like any other game youve played where you can drive or walk on ice- literally feels the same sorta slide affect.
I haven played further as i intend to return the game, but immediately, for now, its a no from me, something of which i could tell straight away, even though i love blcok building/ spaceship orienteated games. One block high makes it feel like youre not really making anythin beyond a game intended for small children.

I had fun playing this game. I really like the simple and quick ship editor and all the challenging levels.
I hope that more missions will come out, but I did not even finish all of them yet. :D

Fun little game. For the price it will be well worth it. Only played about an hour so far. Need to add limits on what you can build, by way of like money, so you cant just build over sized unbeatable things. I mean sure have a mode fo that but I prefer building withing limits and trying to make it work with what I got. Hopefully they will add many more missions.

I really enjoyed this game.
The mechanics allow for you to design a ship with either a very simplistic or thoroughly complex approach.
The tasks are relatively simple, but the game allows for heavy optimization of your ship (this is apparent on the leaderboards).
I would absolutely love to see this game in multiplayer with either race mode, battle mode, and/or co-op wave battles.
Since it is so customizible, I could see competition getting fierce, which always makes a game more fun.
Keep up the good work!

Very early access but the game has great potential. Definitely want to put this on your wishlist. Mod support with ships already being made. Cool physics with parts that separate from the ship as its damaged. Very cool roadmap.

A small nice looking 2D ship building game.
While you could say its lacking content (not that many levels) its still quite fun to play. Definitely not perfect or anything but the simple mechanics do make it easy to understand. While it is focused on building ships for each level, you can get away with using the same ship on multiple levels, but modifying them to make it more appropriate for the level's task does help and building a new ship is more fun.
Although it is 2D (which is nicer for things like seeing every functional part on a ship at once) there is a paint system, some moving parts (servo things) and a bunch of armour block shapes, so you can still try to make a nice looking ship while playing each level. After finishing the levels, though, you might not play the game again since there's probably not that many sandbox ship ideas you can have.

No reviews as yet which I was surprised about. So, I decided to pick it up and have a go, you can see my first 20 minutes below.
So on the surface this is yet another blocky spaceship building game but so far with my limited time ( I am going to keep playing) it seems fun, challenging and to be fair not many bugs for an early game still in alpha
So far there isn't too much in the game, about 8/9 missions to do, I’ve done the first 3 now, and they are pretty enjoyable. with challenging situations to test your creations.
The building is pretty straight forward but I would like to see a Mirror key where you can create equal on both sides for symmetry.
This game with the art style, nice controls (even though I am rubbish) a decent UI is a solid foundation to start from, I hope the developer keeps developing it with more missions, maybe even a small campaign too, mixed with a better tutorial and more ship design options.
For the price in my eyes you will get a good couple of hours out of it even at this early stage.
So, I recommended.
