Cute little VR game with remote-controlled flying taxi, that provides surprising amount of challenge with it's physics based movement. It looks, sounds and handles great just like any other Funktronic Labs game. The game has 3 modes that are unlocked one by one by achieving a certain high score in a previous mode. First one is a Normal run, that opens a very similar Challenge mode, and after that - Bullet Hell survival. There is not much variety in any of modes, so it probably won't hold your interest for longer than an hours or two. Works on Reverb G2

It's a Fun Good Game. The conrols are very hard for kids. So keep that in mind if you want to buy this for your kids. They might be very disappointed when they know that they can't control the flying ship properly.

This game and the other Funktronic title I've played, Cosmic Trip, are both driven by unique control schemes that make for really fun gameplay once you start to get them down. Each also has solid art direction for a unified feel to the visuals. Starbear: Taxi procedurally generates a little Jetson's style future city, starting with your taxi stand and adding on new building and more traffic lanes, challenges and obstacles as you go. There were a ton of little touches I won't spoil that made me laugh while I was playing. Easily worth the price on the tin, and don't wait as long as I did to install it and give it a go.

Starbear Taxi is a cute little VR game where you taxi bears around a futuristic city. You complete various tasks to earn honeycombs, with some tasks more difficult than others. As the game progresses, your randomly generated city slowly grows adding more platforms and obstacles. The gameplay can get pretty challenging, especially with the constant time pressure. The controls can take a bit of time to master, and are really what contributes to most of the challenge. Graphically, the game has a unique retro futuristic style that is highly polished. The cutsey audio also fits in well. This is more of an arcade style game that is great for shorter sessions, though it does include some additional game modes. Check this out if that sounds like something you'd be into!

It's $1.24 on sale. Fun and casual with expressive art and animations that are something out of a Mario game. Definitely benefits from a high resolution headset.

Probably my favorite "cool-down" game for VR. Perfect for ending your VR sessions. Little crazy taxi style gameplay with fun controls and fantastic visuals. Music and sound are top notch as well. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for something different in VR. You will gald you bought it!

Really cute little game. Takes a minute to get a handle of the mechanics but then its smooth from there. Fun to play a few rounds between other VR games

9/10 Love it . Shame that this isn't better known in the PC VR gaming world. Funkatronic really know how to make a good VR title. I only bought this as part of the Funkatronic bundle on steam , owing their other 2 titles (Fuji and the brilliant Cosmic Trip) otherwise I'd never have heard of it!. This is a great game with tight controls, great challenge and is just good fun to play. The game has a kind of "Crazy Taxi" style mechanic, where you start off with 60 seconds, but gain time with each fare you pickup, if you deliver them quickly enough you wont lose any time, if you are late, you will be closet to game over. The controls are TIGHT - You steer a ufo type ship by titling the controller and using the trigger to rise and letting go to fall - you pick up a variety of rides, some straight A->B trips, some with objectives. Other mechanics such as weight are there, but I won't ruin it. Brilliant arcade style VR game, well worth a fiver.

Within 60 mins i was world #2 in the third mode (Bullet Mode...which also appears to be poorly made or glitched view). having said that I'm pretty much an expert so let me give you the down-low. The game consists of 3 modes all single level. Not much going on with it, but for 4.99 / 2.49 on sale, you do get what you pay for which is a short arcade game with zero entertaining musical tracks and some controls that are wonky for a good half hour until you get that down. I do wish there was a chill mode or extended time b/c the first two modes are only 60 seconds long unless you consistently nail every delivery. The third mode is survival but on Quest2 the boss is behind you shooting bullets so well, i'm not going to try to explain it. It's just wonky, and you'll see what I mean if you play long enough to unlock it.

One of the most polished VR games I've played. I love that it takes just a few minutes to play one game. Easy to learn, hard to master. Not just in terms of skill, but in learning all the side missions and bonuses. The flow of the game reminds me of a solid pinball machine but with different mechanics.
