While this may not win any awards for looks ( although it isn't hideous ) you will keep playing because of the fast action and farting.

Looking past the hilariously bad graphics, this game is incredible. The controls are tight and the gameplay is challenging and fun. Definitely worth the money.

There's nothing bad I can say about Epic Dumpster Bear that is an actual dealbreaker. All around great experience.
Graphics:
Love them!
Gameplay:
Fluid, intuitive, casual, fun.
Performance:
The one and only pitfall this game has are the framedrops I sometimes experience, which probably have something to do with level loading and the Unity engine, but it only appears temporarily, and doesn't break the experience. otherwise the game runs just as it should, no mucking about.
Sound:
THE SOUNDTRACK IS CATCHYYYYY!
Concept:
I love a good story, and I got a good story.
10/10. Will play again.

No, seriously, it's actually good. Epic Dumpster Bear: Dumpster Fire Redux is actually good. Platforming is solid Mario stuff, there's loads of levels that all flow well, and it's full of deadpan humor.

Epic Dumpster Bear: Dumpster Fire Redux is yet another of literally thousands of console ported retro platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere. This one somehow got onto PS4 without any QC at all, despite not being a serious attempt at making a game... This is just trashware.
At best, this is the worst, crappiest Super Mario Bros ripoff you ever saw, with a badly rendered 3D low poly bear instead of Mario, bashing your head on blocks to get coins... it gets no better than that, this is an insult to gamers everywhere. But it was never intended to be a serious game for gamers, this is just a cash grab, and a bad one at that.
From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision.
The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts.
PC gamers will be insulted by the presence of console peasant children's toy controller prompts, despite this being on PC. Developers should try to be aware which platform they're developing for.
Because this is designed for consoles, it carries a number of deliberate design deficiencies. Compromises were made to cater to the inferior console gaming appliances that the game was designed for. These are unfortunate compromises and limitations that PC gamers shouldn't be forced to accept, but it's evident that PC was a second thought for the console-centric developers. The game is deficient as a result of these choices, and would have been so much better without the handicaps that designing games for consoles forces upon a game. Once more, console peasants have made gaming worse for everyone.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 4 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected.
So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam?
Epic Dumpster Bear: Dumpster Fire Redux is relatively cheap at $2, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend. This is also competing with over 11,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product.
Note: Because this is more of a "joke" game, intended to draw attention from controversy or in the hopes of going viral because it's "so bad it's good" (but it isn't good at all), there's nothing here to offer to serious gamers. As usual, with most awful/joke games, all the comedians come out of the woodwork. The vast majority of the reviews for this game are joke reviews, such as "this game cured my cancer, saved my marriage, changed my life" etc. Because most of the reviews are as insincere as the game itself is, and if you removed the fake/joke reviews the game would have a markedly different review score, the positive review score for this game should be disregarded.

Awesome platforming and an engaging story. All jokes aside, the game is very well done.

The Goat Simulator of the platform genre.
Random nonsensical animal based hijinks in a world filled with assets that while recognizable as such have been used in a way to enhance rather than hinder the enjoyment of the game.
Despite logic suggesting that it is just a throwaway game cobbled together quickly the platforming is actually functional and engaging.
Winner of the 2018 awards for so bad its good and so stupid its funny.
Use of a controller is recommended though.

This game is a combination of Super Mario Bros 3 + Super Meat Boy, but it has bears (frankly, those games wish they were as cool as this one). Jokes aside, it's a really fun game, with surprisingly good (but challenging) platforming, amazing music and good story. A few things I found questionable (hitboxes of certain enemies in particular), but in general it's a cool platformer.
I recommend it to anyone who likes platformers, bears and / or both.

Mario for memelords, but also a really good platformer. The garbage aesthetic is definitely part of the charm.
