Dead by Daylight - Leatherface™ DLC

Leatherface is a Character DLC for Dead by Daylight. This is slaughter in its purest form. A kind of slaughter driven by a pure need of flesh. Leatherface won’t fail and he won’t stop. As the chainsaw starts, you know what is coming. You will end up on someone’s plate.

i hate bubba but this dlc is a must as he has the best killer perk in the game.

It's probably the number 1 DLC that anyone who wants to primarily play as killer should get. It's not for the character or most of the perks. Just one of the perks, Barbeque and Chili makes playing as the killer so much more enjoyable. At tier 3, it will double your total points after the game as long as you manage to hook everyone once.

Rip old masks, you will be remembered pretty sad that some players can do this to cosmetics, says a lot about society

Many people get this DLC just for Bubba's perks(especially BBQ&Chilli), which are some really good perks. But in my opinion, Bubba is not too unfun either. Of course, he is on the lower part of the scale when it comes to viable killers, but there is some fun to be had with him, like with the recently appeared ''Play with your food Bubba''. Also facecamping. Everyone's favourite kappa. But if you don't have any interest in the killer, the perks are still hella good, so either way, recommended

If you buy this DLC, you are buying the perks, not Leatherface. This is the brutally honest take coming from a form Cannibal main. While Leatherface has a distinct section in the low tier metagame, he is usually a troll pick, someone that you are going to have fun with if you play right, but you aren't going for victory due to his playstyle being good for Downing, but requires a lot of skill to do right. If you want to play LF, go Barbeque and Chili to allow you to prepare or search for survivors, Nurse's Calling to find people who are healing, Thrilling Tremors to try and get them to play more in harmony, getting their friend off the hook so you can use your power, Whispers for tracking. These are recommendations from a former main, so I cannot give the full advice and say this will work 100%, but based on how players run, getting them in one area and getting them to work together or at least giving yourself some tracking advantage will help out in the long run.

Bubba rulz and you should buy him if you play DbD. Consider that Bubba has an IQ of about 40 in the canon material and know that your financial contribution helps build a role model for people like Bubba around the world. So, lets note what Bubba can do for you. With his chainsaw sweep motion he easily dominates hooked survivors and rules over his basement. His cattle skull hammer is satisfying and includes a "thunk" when you wack teabagging survivors in the back of the head. He also comes with three outfits, in your choice of gender. The roleplay opportunities here are much appreciated. And the downside. He's not an A list killer, he just can't control the map with the ease that the mobility killers do, but even if you lose the match, you'll likely be a happy low IQ loser. And that's what great DLC does.

First of all, let me refute what alot of the negative reviews are sayin: This is not a "Pay to win" DLC, nor is he a "shitty HillBilly clone". I see alot of comments saying he moves too fast. He moves at 4.6 meters per sec, which is the killer standard. Trapper, Billy, Wraith uncloaked, Doctor in Punishment, and Michael tiers 2 and 3 all move at the same speed. While charging his chainsaw his speed is dropped to barely above survivor speed. Once it is charged and activated, it accelerates him to being slightly above his top speed. Key is accelerates, as he doesnt instantly gain his top speed back like Hillbilly does, he starts his saw attack slow and ends fast. His ability is nasty to face on the receiving end no doubt, but any pallet or window will shut it down completly, same as Hillbilly. If you get caught in the open, then that's on you, same as its on you if you get sawed by HillBilly. The one main mechanic of his saw is high control, which is probably the source of the "pay to win" accusations. His whole ability is to catch up and saw down survirors. Sometimes multiple. It's a strong ability no doubt, but not nearly as strong as Hillbilly's map control, Nurses pallet and window stomping teleports, or huntesses long range attacks. As for the Hillbilly clone comments: it's Leatherface. Hillbilly was inspired by Leatherface, of course there are strong resememblances in their characters. At the end of the day, it's an iconic killer many people love, don't hate on him being in the game "cause we already have a chainsaw killer. lazy devs". And as for abilities, Hillbillys saw is for mobility, allowing him to patrol faster than any other character. He can get across the map in seconds, and using his saw for attacking is only when you're sure no windows or pallets could block you. Leatherface uses his saw solely for attacking. No mobility to be gained from using it. The two killers still feel different to use, as the situations you'll find yourself using Leatherface's chainsaw are normally quite different from when you'd be using Hillbilly's, and vice versa. TL:DR Leatherface is a fun killer who remains fresh despite his Hillbilly counterpart already being in the game. He is not "OP' or "PTW" due to his power being completly useless against pallet loops and areas with lots of windows to jump through. I recommend it to anyone who loves the Texas Chainsaw Massacre or just wants a fresh killer to spice up their game play.

Leatherface is quickly becoming my favorite killer. He's nothing flashy, his mechanics aren't something to master on their own like the Shape or the Nurse. The key to using Bubba's chainsaw is just getting into the right situation. Survivors body blocking? Healing each other? Grouping a generator? The answer is quite simple with this DLC. Kill em all! The survivors that stay together, die together. Keep your survivors running scared with that saw of yours, slice through pallets like butter, punish acts of clustered altruism. Although I love walking at my victims like a combine in a corn field, the best innovation this DLC brings is the cosmetic options. The four core survivors (Meg, Dwight, Claudette, and Jake) give you progress toward new masks as you sacrifice them. Indulge in your passion for fashion with a little help from your friends. I'm happy with the nod toward the lore, and I appreciate a good humoured reward.

Good killer with the very useful perk BBQ and Chilli, but the devs censored cosmetics 4+ years after his release for the most idiotic reasons imaginable.

This was a great DLC, but then a fake Twitter outrage campaign ruined it. Racism is terrible, but it's extremely hard to believe people were being targeted based on their race, when no one can tell what race you are through the game... If gore in a horror game triggers you, then play Five Nights At Freddy's instead. Ban the racists, removing features from the game doesn't make them go away—it only ruins the game for everyone.
