Dead by Daylight - Leatherface™ DLC

Leatherface is a Character DLC for Dead by Daylight. This is slaughter in its purest form. A kind of slaughter driven by a pure need of flesh. Leatherface won’t fail and he won’t stop. As the chainsaw starts, you know what is coming. You will end up on someone’s plate.

"You'll never know how much you love something until it's gone" Goodbye Bubba. Even though I didn't like it when you stood in front of my face for 2 minutes watching me die I now realize those were my fondest memories of our time together

The killer itself is mid-tier and pretty hard to play against coordinated rank 1's. But his perks - (franklin demise/bbq/knock out) are pretty strong one's and if you are a killer main and want to gain more points + not camp and still get kills? BBQ is for you!

I got camped and tunneled so hard I became a Bubba main. BBQ and Chili is a great perk for BP farming and a great perk in general, and Franklin's Demise makes every flashlight clicker cry.

- Breaking up with your partner, - jumping from a plane...without a parachute, - being attacked by the most venomous snake in the world, - sitting on a steel nail, - waking up after party next to someone who you thought was a attractive lady, but it wasn't and you don't want to talk about it, - eating a rock. ↑ None of these things would give you such an amazing emotionally rollercoaster as being face camped and left on the ground for 10mins to bleed out by head-shaking bubba. 10 out of 10.

Rip old masks, you will be remembered pretty sad that some players can do this to cosmetics, says a lot about society

Probably one of the worst additions to Dead by Daylight. While I love the game I detest everything this DLC did. This DLC contains one killer, Leatherface, who is a licensed killer. Because of this you have to spend money to get him, you are unable to get him with in game currency like non-licensed killers. Lets talk about Leatherface himself: Easily one of the most toxic characters in the game. If you have played any amount of hours in this game, you will know that face camping is a plague to any enjoyment you could receive from the game. You will also know that half of the time it is a Leatherface doing it and there is basically nothing you can do to solve that if it is him. This is because his power is an instadown that can take down multiple people. So if you try to go for the save it is likely that both you and the person you saved will be downed and hooked again. If a killer can effectively defend two survivors on a hook, thats it, game over for survivors. All because you were stupid enough to try helping out your fellow survivors. To make things worse they have recently reworked him, so his instadowns are more consistent essentially buffing him. This has resulted in more Leatherface players running around. You will also notice a trend, that he demolished solo survivors but gets demolished by survive with friends, much more than the average killer. This is incredibly toxic for other killer players because survive with friends bullies are one of the worst things on their end, and Leatherface's existence makes you never want to play solo as a survivor. A note about me, I am not a Rank 1 survivor or anything crazy. My highest rank is rank 3, so you could say I am not experienced enough to fully comment on the killer's balance. I would argue the exact opposite. The majority of the player base have not reached red ranks, and this killer is an overall gross experience to play against for anyone who isn't red ranks. Now lets talk about perks: Knockout and Franklin's Demise: These don't matter BBQ and Chilli: Unless you want to contribute to the toxic mass of Leatherface players. This is the perk you are considering to buy this DLC for. It is a great perk by all means. In fact, it is so great that it is essential for playing killer. Both because of its in game use, information and its out of game use, bloodpoint farming. You will see people recommending this DLC just because of this perk and I must admit I also have to say that if you are considering playing killer you have to buy this DLC. But that is the most gross part about all of this, killer players need this DLC so it is essentially a pay wall. Despite the fact that the killer is a completely toxic addition to the game, despite the fact that the other two perks a middling to average in quality, you will end up buying this DLC for BBQ and Chilli alone. Conclusion: In conclusion, you will end up purchasing this DLC if you want to play killer. This is because you are basically forced to. Gross.

Many people get this DLC just for Bubba's perks(especially BBQ&Chilli), which are some really good perks. But in my opinion, Bubba is not too unfun either. Of course, he is on the lower part of the scale when it comes to viable killers, but there is some fun to be had with him, like with the recently appeared ''Play with your food Bubba''. Also facecamping. Everyone's favourite kappa. But if you don't have any interest in the killer, the perks are still hella good, so either way, recommended

It's probably the number 1 DLC that anyone who wants to primarily play as killer should get. It's not for the character or most of the perks. Just one of the perks, Barbeque and Chili makes playing as the killer so much more enjoyable. At tier 3, it will double your total points after the game as long as you manage to hook everyone once.

This was a great DLC, but then a fake Twitter outrage campaign ruined it. Racism is terrible, but it's extremely hard to believe people were being targeted based on their race, when no one can tell what race you are through the game... If gore in a horror game triggers you, then play Five Nights At Freddy's instead. Ban the racists, removing features from the game doesn't make them go away—it only ruins the game for everyone.

Leatherface is quickly becoming my favorite killer. He's nothing flashy, his mechanics aren't something to master on their own like the Shape or the Nurse. The key to using Bubba's chainsaw is just getting into the right situation. Survivors body blocking? Healing each other? Grouping a generator? The answer is quite simple with this DLC. Kill em all! The survivors that stay together, die together. Keep your survivors running scared with that saw of yours, slice through pallets like butter, punish acts of clustered altruism. Although I love walking at my victims like a combine in a corn field, the best innovation this DLC brings is the cosmetic options. The four core survivors (Meg, Dwight, Claudette, and Jake) give you progress toward new masks as you sacrifice them. Indulge in your passion for fashion with a little help from your friends. I'm happy with the nod toward the lore, and I appreciate a good humoured reward.
