Fascinating, powerful environment for creative video work!!! As others have noted, the interface can be pretty hard to work with... but if you can get over that hump, it's great.

I run this on Linux, and it works fairly well out of the box.
I run my synthesizers into it with a mixer, and it works very well. I can get some cool effects happening on the video output along with the music.
It's SUPER fun to explore, and learn how it works.
Occasionally, it crashes, and there are some bugs, the GUI is really not the most intuitive.
Overall, there is a learning curve and challenges along the way, but as someone said on another review, it really is worth it.
