Beautiful and simple strategy game, really fill its niche very well. I find it relaxing to play a short session when I want a pause. I love the simple graphics too, they are well done.

Bad North is a smart, minimal real-time tactics game that strips the genre down to its core and makes it work beautifully. Its clean design, simple controls, and charming visual style make it easy to get into, but there’s enough tactical depth to keep things engaging. It doesn’t overcomplicate things - and that’s exactly why it works so well. Have a go!!!!

Great little Game, could use more items and unlocks but is great fun for 10-15 hours

imagine Yourself surrounded by Premium AAA , running only on premium PC , where ou rely only on DLC and micro transactions ... Now wake up and late me tell you more about "Bad North" : An indie , feel good , "slow happy life" , Hygge game (Hygge is a Scandinavian chill way of life) A real nice gameplay , a beautifull Artistic Direction , and this amazing feeling of a game who gives you the fun while allowing you to relax . You want challenge ? there is some at the end but don't expect a "Soul like" Run where you end as a paranoid . You want a good decent game where you can enjoy , relax , play a decent indie Game ... JUST DO IT !!! To summarize . Graphics : Runs on your work laptop Gameplay : Easy , simple , straight to the point Immersion : Yes ! perfect for short gaming session Final Quote : A nice "Hygge" indie game who disserves a few hours of your time 🩷🩷🩷

I love the cute but brutal graphics the island generation is both the best and worse thing about this game. I love all the enemies and the unique ways you counter them (except for brute archer get rid of brute archer they suck) 8/10 Game 100% worth it go the game now and stop reading my brain-dead review

Good game, a lil difficult on the last map of hard mode; alright time for 100% achievements

A beautifully designed, clever, minimalist, real-time tactics game. The procedural generation of the islands is technically accomplished, and adds a lot of variety. Controller support takes a few islands to get used to, but soon becomes second nature, and works surprisingly well. Mac owners: the Steam page claims that "Apple M1 chipsets are not supported". I don't know about that, but I do know that the game runs very well on the M3. Hold down the Option key at launch, or set a Steam launch option to show the Mac-specific options menu. You don't need the default resolution on a Retina display MacBook; it's overkill. The lowest resolution looks just fine, and won't cook your CPU. 100% should take about 30 hours. It's tough, but quite doable. Highly recommended.
