Better than you'd think. TL;DR I bought the game thinking it was going to be another terrible Steam greenlight episode but it's actually pretty good. Not nearly as shitty as most early access games on steam, and although the game definitely needs some polishing, there is still hours of content and it is by all means playable. It isn't too buggy and has a lot of content for early access. Check the steam forum to join a server while the dev is fixing the server list. From the screenshots the game looks a lot more crappy than it really is. I was expecting to get this game just to try it and refund it but it's actually pretty good plus its only ten dollars. It is still in alpha and definitely nothing like a fully released game but it is by all means playable and fun, and the dev is very active on the forums and he has a good sense of humor. Beware this is a difficult game, and the NPCs are really not pushovers. If you just start up and run at a monument to kill golems, you're going to get REKT. But if you learn the game and the elemental resistances and weaknesses you will find it much much easier to survive. If you want to enjoy this game you should just start off by exploring while collecting random plants and rocks from the ground and then experimenting with the alchemy system and then start upgrading your gear which will make you much stronger. Overall I give it an 8/10 on the Steam early access scale. It's a pretty good investment for 10 dollars, Just get it and if you don't like it, you can refund it. Also, try playing it with a friend or a random player you meet on the server, its a lot better co-op

As it is with any new game, they all have their share of bugs and exploits. Anyone who can see past that and sees the game for what it is can find a beautiful prehistoric view of an untamed world ripe for the plundering. Ignore the brief comments of those that haven't put the time in, they won't give you a peek into a game with true potential. Jump in, explore and power through. All great games start somewhere.

Good game if u like magic and exploration with simple combat and looting. One thing I would suggest is why not change the magic button to the mouse wheel like in other fps combat games that let's u choose weapons. Other then that game has been enjoyable and fun. like how the devs lowered the price to get more people to play it. This game is definetly a hidden gem

For the sake of the previous version which was far way better, I'd give this a thumbs up otherwise read this: Hello first of all, I would like you to know this game was pretty good, but the recent update along with the data wipe killed it for me and my friend. We tried on the new updated version even if its a pain for us since he was lvl 50+ and I was about lvl 30. The worst thing in the new update is the AI, they are all insanely aggressive. Have you even tried? attack 1 and everybody ganks up on you, if this was your design then, me and my friend might just have to leave this and ask for a refund. The previous version was far much better, although it's really helpful for the Beacon update. The random element after spwan is not so much effective. We tried to switch elements but the next respawn was useless. it was all random. I hope this helps you guys and we hope you can get your act together. How will I recommend this? too early access.. Previous version was 7/10 due to still lacking content but pretty solid Current version is 3/10 and really unplayable. Too hard for beginners and hardcore players wouldn't waste time with current settings.

oof Edit: my rewiew "oof" didn't really describe what i dislike about the game. The thing is - even after trying for at least 40 minutes, I haven't been able to play this game. All i was able to do was creating a bloodline the one time i was able to join the Server (which took ages, maybe due to my bad internet connection to the US) after that i got thrown back in the main menu. (the game is tagged with "Single Player". will it be possible to play real offline-Single PLayer in the future? Now that a developer told me that the linux build was so glitchy they removed it, i think of that as an explaination of why this did not at all work for me. but a game that doesn't even run... thats something i don't really can or want to beta-play. later this week, i will try thins on my windows setup and rethink my review.

This game is a bit like if you combined Hexen meets Full Metal Alchemist with RPG game mechanics mixed in with Hexen FPS mechanics. On top of all of that it's got survival mechanic's built into it and is fairly rogue like game play to a certain point. It's got it's share of early access quirks to still work out or improve, but you can get a pretty good idea of the games potential. I find the core mechanics of the game to be pretty solid overall. My initial impression of it wasn't too great and a big part of that was the Transmute system was too tediously involved which the developer improved and it really made a big difference and put more focus on the combat while making the crafting quicker and less point and click heavy in general. It needed that to be fair it took away too much from the core combat element of the game being too stuck in a inventory window which you need to a fair bit due to the survival mechanics. I think the survival mechanics are a little more forgiving to people starting out as well with a few of the changes in the last month or so since I've had the game. I've shared idea's on where I feel the game could improve and directions it could move in a bit that would expand upon the core game play in place further. The game feels like it's got potential to be a lot more than what it is currently. At the same time it's still pretty enjoyable right now to explore, craft, and level up to fight more difficult encounters. For the sale price it's at now you've got nothing to lose really giving it a try. It's a game that dares to be a bit different and embraces it well. The heart of the game really revolves around two major things the FPS RPG mechanics and the Transmuting the later of which is much like the Horadic Cube in Diablo 2 in a very good way which provides a simple yet complex and done well crafting system. Bottom line Bloodlines of Prima is rough around the edges in area's, but overall interesting and fun while at the same time a variety of changes could dramatically improve it over the next several months. You could pay more money for a game that you'd probably spend much less time with.

I wont fully recommend this game on its game play alone. I like the game because you get to explore the expanding game right beside the dev. its made the game a lot of fun being in the middle of the game and chatting to the dev at the same time. I have a story for how I found the game. Me and my friends were looking around steam for bad games. we looked at the trailer for the game. it looked a little interesting. and just a small moment at the end the man looked like he was about to cry. we felt kinda bad. so we said to eachother. "No matter if we enjoy the game or not, we don't refund" so we installed and all hopped in at the same time. At the start. we had fuck all knowledge on what to do. we just kinda waddled around using random spells. hell I almost killed my friends multiple times using a spell I didn't know the effects of. this led us to trying to traverse the games first and so far only temple. The Living Ziguraat - Or at least I think that is the name... we learned that certain elements open certain things. that certain enemies are weak to certain elements and that some enemies wont even aggro.... we also learned that temple chests didn't have loot. but that has already been fixed. my friends had stopped playing the game that first day. but I continued. quickly reaching the games max level and causing something to break. again that was fixed and I still play. because its fun to learn new things. this game throws you into a world that looks unforgiving at first. but with a little bit of patience and thinking about what you craft, you will very quickly learn how to get ahold of the games system. (Hell yesterday I even missclicked and crafted my ring into a potion) But I kept on. If you want to enjoy this game. join the discord. chat with others and the dev so you have something to help you thru the painful start. enjoy what it has now, and work with the dev. like he said. he needs feedback. and he loves to get it. so hop in, play the game. and maybe you will enjoy the experience I have. having an impact on something, Or just be like me and break a lot of stuff. This review is a mess but hey. I enjoy the game, you might as well. just join the discord to have more fun. cheers.
