Amazing Amazing experience. Look all around you to see what love went into this. I haven't seen anything close to this as a cinematic storybook goes.

Awesome addition to your VR collection. This is a very nicely made story (3 chapter) and more to come. Hopefully they create as many chapters as the amount of adventure he went on. I'll keep buying :)

Sometimes after being on my feet at work all day it's nice to be able to just set back and watch something in VR. Monkey King is well worth the four dollar asking price! I'm definitely looking forward to more Monkey King stories.

Current length is right at about 30 min. The story doesn't exactly end but doesn't exactly leave off on a cliff hanger either. I'm not sure if more episodes will be additional DLC or not. Either way it's neat to see how stories can be told in VR and how the impact of what is going on is greatly enhanced because of the VR.

Highly recommended. It really is "just" an animated movie, but the crew understand how to use the potential of VR. It is a bit hard to explain, without giving too much away, but this goes sooo much further than most (all) of the other VR shorts I have seen so far (most Oculus Studio ones, Invasion and the google studio ones) in making use of the 360 degrees room to tell a story. at 5$ it is really a no-brainer.

I am so happy to review this VR cinematic experience. There are a growing number of VR experiences out there and so many of them fall short on the content side. But not Digital Domain's Monkey King. This wonderful VR experience is 30 minutes long. And it's not just 30 minutes long, it is an exciting, well animated, well-written, well-voiced, cinematic experience. I was just smiling from ear to ear for the last half of this experience. Is this perfect? No. I have seen better animations in VR. But in my opinion, it is the best VR cinematic experience currently. My previous favorites were Miyubi and Pearl which are both free experiences. However, Digital Domain's Monkey King captures a full story with depth that is good from beginning to end. It is well worth $5. In fact, they could have charged double that price for the content. The experience is split up into three episodes. However, I recommend just viewing all three episodes in one sitting because it's all the same story. There is no interaction. And you are put in a spot, usually in the center of the action. However, you can look all around you and will see a fully realized 3D VR world that is alive. There is an upcoming episode. I can't wait to see where the story goes from here. I highly recommend you get this. Rating 9/10 Note: this content may not be suitable for small children as there is some violence portrayed and death
