I had a lot of fun with this game considering what it is! There are some issues with it but I think if the dev updates the game and conitnues to work on it it could be a really nice one. The "create a room" idea of the game sound great but today I was only able to play a few team deathmatch rounds. All in all for the price this game is well worth it and with some future updates this game could be a great deal! :)

Generally you don't need this game.
Why do I got this game? - A friend and I don't know what to play this evening and so we searched a cheap game which might would be fun.
You don't have any options for sound and it's sometimes very strange where you can stand on and where not. You can choose between three different weapons and you got a knife and a pistol. The scope of the sniper has a red dot in the middle which is nearly as big as your enemy.
If somebody shoots at you, you don't know where he is, because you get a damage indicator that he's in front of you and behind.
Maybe you wonder why this game gets a positive review. I don't expected much when I got this game for 49 cents and if you have a friend to play with it can be fun. So if you are bored and you don't know what to play, buy it.

Battlegun, the game you always wanted.
I´ve played now 55 minutes and I can say I have seen all so far the game has to offer. I bought it for 49ct. because I just wanted quick action in the evening without any big download times with a friend of mine. And that´s exactly what I´ve got!
The game gives you 3 maps:
- town [nice little comic style map for quick action, in my opinion the best]
- space [wide open area with boost elements and less cover]
- operation [large forest with a few buildings, in my opinion way to big to get the promised "fast pace"]
It also offers you 5 weapons in total:
- UMP40 [Full Auto, Default Weapon]
- USP [Pistol, Default Weapon]
- Knife [Default Weapon]
- Shotgun [Available to buy]
- L11A3 [Available to buy]
The gameplay feels like a very basic counter strike on steroids combined with weird physics (like trees you can climb up somehow) which all adds to a funny session with your friends. You can simply host a lobby up to 16 people [TDM and FFA] and you can adjust map, mode, time and kill count. Although it´s fun you´ll notice a lack of players online. There is no single player in this game, so get somebody to play with before buying it.
f so I would recommend Battlegun nevertheless, because it´s funny and kinda challenging. But don´t expect a full fps online shooter as you know it for 49ct.

I love this video game. If you could make a better video game you'd be wrong you can't this is the peak. I have nominated this game for the Labor of Love STEAM AWARD and I fully believe it is deserving of that award.

About reviews...
How are those checklist format reviews helpful at all? I keep seeing more and more of them pop up and they keep getting to the top of store pages as "most helpful" when they really don't say anything. Here is an example:

Based on the information provided, can you guess what game this review is for? What's it about? What kind of game is it?
Point is, these reviews are completely interchangeable. I bet if you took this exact review, and copy and pasted it to every game in your library, you'd get the top review for half of the games you put it on, even if you didn't change the check marks to fit each individual game.
In my opinion, the Steam community should stop encouraging this format and instead downvote them all into oblivion. Maybe it's just me, and I guess it's not THAT big a deal, but for someone that puts at least some effort into the reviews they write, it is a little disheartening that the steam community prefers lazy checklists that ultimately don't say anything specific about the games in question. Plus I don't see how they could ever actually influence someone's decision to purchase a game or not when so little information is given.
Anyone agree or am I the only one that wants to read legitimately helpful reviews for games I might be interested in?

This game literally consists of a couple of asset packs thrown together into a fps shooter. It is very obvious that the dev has put minimal effort into this game and managed to actually push this through the holes of Steam Direct. There is literally NO reason to buy this game, unless you are really into looking at Unity standard asset packs.

I have only played this game for like 40 minutes, yet I have seen and done everything the game offers. In terms of user experience, the game is very bland, and it contains no more than the very basics for a FPS shooter. The game is quite stable though, as it hasn't crashed, glitched, or bugged out at any point while I was playing. Regardless of that, I would avoid purchasing this game, as it offers NOTHING new or exciting at all. It's a very generic game.
On top of that, it is also obvious to see that the game is using pre-built assets, such as the town map, which is literally a a drag and drop "Pro Wild West" map that you can buy on the Unity Asset Store. I am not completely sure about the guns, and I don't want to make any assumptions, but I feel like the fps multiplayer system, as well as the gun and player models, are also not crafted by the dev. This is kind of obvious by the extreme contrast between these and the cartoony map. If I were the dev, I would try to model my own map, and see how much fun it can be to see people play on something that you actually made yourself.
