Was excited to see this on Steam; that didn't last long upon booting it up. Awkward UI made for mobile phones quickly shoved over to keyboard/mouse with minimal effort. Genuinely crushed.
Just buy the originals and run them on OpenRCT

I have always loved this game.. I wish there was a way to reset the progress to start over as I have already beat all of the scenarios..

I remember when this game came in a cereal box as a CD. (yes I'm /that/ old) and it was so much fun to play. I'd 100% recommend it if you want to relive your 'younger years' as a kid.

This isn't a straight up remastered port of the original RCT 1 and 2 but give it a chance! As someone who grew up with the games this version threw me for a loop at first but if you set your nostalgia aside and put some time into the game there's a lot to respect here and it's not just some tossed together cash grab.
They refined and improved many things from the UI to the visuals and even some gameplay mechanics. The pixel art is gorgeous and you can zoom in and out way more than the originals. The biggest thing that rubbed me the wrong way at first is the campaign... it looks way different in the menu than the original games. Well I actually prefer it from a gameplay perspective because the maps are grouped by difficulty which I think is pretty cool. Some of the changes might not be to your preference or may take some getting use to but I definitely suggest giving this game a shot.

The game is basically RCT2 with all the contents from the DLCs and the first episode, so you know it's top quality gameplay.
My negative review is for one simple reason: the UI. I'm sorry but it's just terrible, clearly made for mobile devices; it's so terrible that for a brief second there, I considered getting a refund and going back to RCT2 .
I didn't only because I bought the game at 7€ and not full price and because I like having all the scenarios in one place and I'm too lazy to get OpenRCT.
Not only it ugly looking and clash with the rest of the art of the game, but it is also less functional and more clunky than the original one.
In short: if you are not a lazy ass like me, just get RCT2 and get OpenRCT on top of that, is less money and better quality overall.
If you are lazy, wait for a sale, for the full price is definitely not worth the price (you can literally buy both RCT1 and 2 here on steam for less)

This game is an absolute blast from the past, and reminds me of the days when I would get home from school and play it next to my grandpa. There are so many scenarios compared to what I remember, and the UI is improved from what I remember as well. They kept the same graphics as before, which is what I loved most about the game. This is an amazing experience for anyone who loves building and management games, and I highly recommend it!
