Good music. Bad that developers did not put it in the right folder.

Short answer; Do I recommend this DLC? ABSOLUTELY YES! Should you buy it? No. - - Long answer: When I popped this in, I was expecting the smooth, somber OST's that were already in the game. Instead, I got a weird, loud mesh of 90's sounding Vietnam bad-taste-parody noise that felt like a crossover between STRIFE: Boomer shooter and Fallout 3's 3-Dog radio music. I proceeded to verify my steam cache because I honest-to-God thought a tech-goblin infiltrated my PC and scrambled the files with someone's amphetamine-binge [www.fanfiction.net] crack-fic, but no. These tracks actually exist and they go from oddly unfitting to outright self-parody. On impulse, I refunded my purchase and got started on writing a negative review; then I read the actual description of the DLC and then proceeded to feel like an idiot; Turns out is that this bizarre unhinged collection of MP3's (if I could even call them that) actually (technically) count as CUT CONTENT from the OGRE video game. These tracks were considered, but then (with exceptions) discarded in favor of the more somber, apocalypse-looming, downbeat OST we have in game - a design choice I 500% agree with; This DLC music does not fit OGRE's theme at all, with it's only accomplishment being to satirize the setting. Most game OST designers would've just swept that sort of thing under the rug, but Auroch Digital instead just made them optional to listen to - the ABSOLUTE LADS instead made it publicly available for curious people to purchase, listen to, and if they like it better than what's in game, the can put the game's music on mute and boot this up in PC's built-in MP3 player. That's nice! I love that! As for me, I legitimately thought I was being trolled by Auroch Digital, going insane, or somehow got isekai'd into a GURPS campaign, living as one of a semi-competent GM's billions of unnamed NPC's, waiting to get nuked by a stray MK 3 OGRE missile. I'm happy that instead it was just a funny, memetic coincidence that I can just laugh-off. What a day!

I bought Ogre when I got a Christmas wish from my grandparents for a trip to the Game Keep in Wichita KS on Rock Road. Grandpa and I played Ogre over the Christmas holiday over and over. I've been a die hard fan ever since. However, I always wanted miniatures instead of card counters. The miniature Ogre game never panned out for me, then I see this like 30 years later, anything Ogre is a must! I've just started, and I love it already! Bought it for my buddy who lives a couple of states away, I'm hoping to be able to play him shortly. Big fan, love the music, love the game play, turn based, just absolutley perfect!!! I highly recommend!!! You'll love it!!! Trust me. Steve Jackson, you're brilliant! Thanks for bringing Ogre into the PC game!!!

The soundtrack has a nice 80's vibe in several tunes. But my absolute favorite song is: "My Bonny Sweet Annie Kills Ogres" It's hilarious and alone worth the purchase. :)
