This is simply amazing! Add this to the list of "Things I Didn't Know I Needed in VR But Totally Do!"

Fun little music sandbox, if you like music and/or logic I'd definitely recommend giving this a try - enjoy building up 'circuits' to power your beats.

If you're into music and sound design you can't miss this one, think about a VR Reaktor... devs are active and updates are coming quite fast, they list to the community so thumbs up and full support!

An amazing playground for sound and music synthesis that unfortunately seems to be abandoned, lacking several critical features. Even so, if you have any interest whatsoever in music making, it's really fun to play around and build contraptions within it.

This is a game of missed potential. I REALLY wanted to like this game. Unfortunately it has extreme frame rate issues on my setup (1-5 fps usually). If this game was optimized it would be a great tool for music production. I dont have any issues with any other games, VR or otherwise. Hopefully this game will get a patch to make it usable. Until then stay away. My PC: HTC Vive (Gen 1) Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-5820K CPU @ 3.30GHz 16 GBytes DDR4 1066.5 MHz Nvidia 1080 TI Index Controllers Update: 6/28/2020 I still have not given up on this game, even though it seems the devs have. I did more troubleshooting. The game works decently well so long as you do not touch the touch pad, or joystick. As soon as you give any input to a touch pad or joystick the frame rate drops and you have to quit and relaunch the game to fix it. Sadly this bug does not seem like its going to be fixed as the devs look to have abandoned this project. There is still some issues here, as this game desperately needs a tutorial due to its complexity. I'll update again when I have a chance to actually use this product instead of just troubleshooting it.
Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
Initial Impressions Review, NOT a full review. So this music app works perfectly fine on the Oculus Rift with Touch controllers. I didn't find any issues. However, you do need a full roomscale setup. You can play with two sensors, but there will probably be items you can't reach. Be warned that while this app is very robust, it can be very daunting. I did the Introduction and I am still confused on how everything works. Some functions are left uexplained. I was able to mess around with the app and remix what was there. However, I would have no idea how to create my own beats. And it seems that the playing around that I did was just that ... playing around. Just tinkering without knowing exactly how to manipulate things the way I would want. This app really needs a full tutorial, not just an introduction with some basic information on most of the parts. It needs a hand-on tutorial on editing something simple to editing something very complex. It also needs a full tutorial on how to create your own sounds. The good news is that this is still in Early Access. If the dev focuses on making this thing more accessible, it will be one of the best music apps. For right now, I can only recommend this app for music lovers and people who are not afraid to possibly bite off more than they can chew. I got this on sale for $5 so I think I got a good deal either way. Rate: TBD!

Edit 02/10/2018: Since I wrote this review initially, the dev has actually created a method of movement that allows us to play the game without having to have an open room. This makes everything within reach. Original Review Below: It's actually really cool, but I really do wish there was a way to move without needing roomscale, as this game seems to place every function riiiiiight where my IRL bookshelf is. Right now, I can see that it's super cool so I'll give it a thumbs up, but for me to actually play this, I think I'll need to get an open room to play in.
