feels like early access, but fun nonetheless, I hope developers will polish it a bit more, both graphically and physics/damage modelling wise -there is zero damage modelling currently implemented but it doesn't take too much from the fun of racing

My dad was simply begging to play a VR racing game that used the VIVE controls, as opposed to a keyboard + mouse or gamepad. This one fit the bill solidly! It's not a complete game (as is to be expected from VR games) but by the time my dad finished playing and got 1st place by .1 seconds, he was giggling himself silly. That alone was worth the (low) price of admission. Get it!

Well, I can't give a full opinion since racing with a controller sucks, same for the keyboard. The steering wheel sensibility doesn't match that of the controller and there's no way to edit it. I suggest you only buy it if you have a physical steering wheel controller to play.

Very nice for the price. It would be nice if it were a little more versatile, a few adjustments for the cars later on would be nice. If player could pick the number of laps and or have a few more tracks would be a very nice next step for this game. Limiting it to 3 laps and 4 tracks does get a little boring.

It is what is claims to be: an easy-operation F1 racer. There's no career mode, no multiplayer, no customization or tuning your vehicle, just four tracks, three cars and the AI drivers. It's a throwback to arcade racers of yesteryear and that's fine. There are Steam leaderboards for all the courses, so you can compare your times against other players'. Works great without VR equipment! The transparent wheel is present in all views, which is kind of weird.
I would've liked to be able to tweak controller settings more, but alas.

The game looks ok, but the lack of tracks and the fact that the only easy track is round the rest have complex corners. There are no other easy tracks. Means that there is zero learning curve. Did not enjoy the game.

Very entertaining and immersive Formula 1 arcade racing game. Don't expect a F1 simulator, this is a fun and fast arcade F1 racer with Vive-controller steering, easy to jump into but quite challenging to master! Check my Mixed Reality VR gameplay I made showing all 3 cars and 4 tracks in action:

The good stuff about FormulaVR:
Graphics are very good, image is sharp on distance (even without supersampling) and car models are very polished, including the cockpit.
Simple but logic main menu, and you can adjust your seating position any time easily with grip button (very good).
Steering with Vive controllers works great actually, but of course its an arcade game so the sensitivity is quite low. Its easy to steer and I dont miss steering wheel support tbh. Good arcade feeling!
Opponents are challenging and AI is not bad at all. Sense of speed is awesome in 300km/h and no motion sickness for me at all. Good sound effects and awesome arcade immersion! Tutorial is available. Full Mixed Reality support is nice as well :) (thank you SAT BOX). Price is resonable as well (I bought it myself), and performance is good.
The less good stuff about FormulaVR:
No Multiplayer (yet at least)
Only 4 tracks and 3 cars available.
Only qualify+race mode. No warm up and no career or championship modes.
Some of the tracks are better looking than others, at least one of them is actually taken straight from VR Sports Go Kart game (same developer).
Music is mostly from VR Sports (not bad though)
No difficulty settings (as far as I can see)
No car or tire adjustments/customizations.
No car damage on crash.
No weather conditions except sunny.
All in all, very simple but still very fun and good looking F1 racing game. Just jump into it, have fun and enjoy arcade-ish F1 races in Virtual Reality. Check my full gameplay video above for more info and my final thoughts.
Cheers guys!

Arcade, mainly for kids, once you know the track you dont need to slow down, there is 4 tracks, and 3 cars (speed, equilibrate and handeling) not really differents, accelerate and run, graphics are really basics, I give it a thumb up, I am nice, dont expect to play it more than 30 minutes...

Trash game. I DO NOT recommend!
>LITERALLY NO SETTINGS.
>Seating position is always rotated 90 degrees clockwise.
>Awful motion control system
>No steering wheel support
