A cute, inoffensive hex-based strategy game with a story campaign involving woodland animals vs. insects. It's nice to see someone trying something different.

tl;dr:A short turn-based strategy game in which cute mammals and birds duke it out against slightly less cute insects.
The game has a short story mode, challenges as well as a multiplayer mode.
Graphic wise, there is nothing to write home about, but the animals are without a doubt cute. Moving a bunch of badgers and squirrels around is way more fun to me than it should be ;)
Audio is serviceable, but lacking in variety.
The combat of the game is simplistic, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing.
This is definitely a game I would recommend for the younger ones, or those trying to get started with turn-based strategy games.
The multiplayer mode was a mistake.
The whole game concept is too simple and the scope too limited to really speak to the (extremely small to begin with) crowd of turn-based multiplayer players.
Therefore adding all this online functionality seems like a totally wrong feature to spend dev time on, time that could have been spent on another campaign or different challenges.
All in all, I wish there was more to the game, especially more story content.
However, for the low price, I can definitely recommend it, You'll certainly get some hours of peacul fun out of it.
