At this moment I have played the game for 6 hours, before the two hours struck, I have to admit I was in doubt if I should keep the game, or refund it. I have decided to keep it, and I have decided to recommend the game. But with some reservations. The game is played on a single map (divided by portals which you can freely move between). It is a pretty hardcore game, in which you can lose everything and can be forced to reset. In many ways making this a survival game. In this game you will be able to meet hundreds or even thousands of other players all trying to expend their empire. This is personally something I love, no instance based RTS, but one massive world. Everyone connected to each other. For that reason alone, this game gets a massive plus, as there are very few games like this and even less that succeeded. It is a genre that needs to be tamed, as a true MMORTS is something I have been longing for for years. The basics are there and they work. The pathfinding is not perfect, but your units do get from A to B. Building works correctly and your resource gathers work as they should. There is however not much beyond this point. The amount of buildings, resources and troops is limited. When it comes to war, generally the player that is online the most wins, as he can gather more resources. The developers have mentioned that more resources are on the way and hopefully more unit and building variaty will be added as well. The game is also lacking a real objective, as there is no way to 'win' the game. This might not be seen as a negative for everyone however, as some prefer the sandbox gametype.

Worth checking out for sure, as I have yet to find anything quite like it. The game features a persistant world where players battle it out for resources and eventual victory over the course of days/weeks. It uses basic rts elements and expands upon the strategy through time, space, and player interaction. It is also being constantly updated, and upgraded and there is a good chance if you think a feature is missing it will be added soon. Highly recommend checking it out for some slower paced and social rts gaming, similar to a more drawn out risk experience in a lot of ways. If you decide to give it a try, join the discord and start plotting your rise to power.

I really hate to give this game a bad review because I do see some love went into this and it could be a playable game... someday. Well I went ahead and took the pluge to try it out. Sorry to say I ended up getting a refund because this is not a $20 game. There are 4 buildings you can build (Town Hall, Barracks, Archer defense tower, farm), and only a few units (sword, archer, miner, famer and woodcutter). Farmers build farms, builders build Town halls, barracks and archer towers. Just click on the builder and click on an empty hex and boom it's there instantly. The gatherable resources are Food (grown in your farms), Iron (mined from mines that you have to find on the map and can't make yourself), and wood (from the few trees on the map that take about 3 seconds to chop down). GamePlay: Really, you can see everything this game has to offer within 3 minutes of first playing. You can chop trees, mine and build the things mentioned already. If there were some sort of progression or goal this game might be worth playing but the only reason to expand or do anything is simply to get more iron and make more troops so you can get more iron and make more troops. Some things that might make this game playable: - More resource types ( rare resource types to fight over?) - More structures - Leader progression - Specializations (tech tree, etc) - More units Hopefully someday I can give a positive review, but as of now this isn't a game, much less a $20 game. It's tech demo to use to pitch to publishers at best.
