One thing that this game has always had perfect was this. The music. It's very good and most envoke the felling of calm or bliss while the song "those awful ravenous rainbows" envokes fear, dread, and panic.

Normally I would recommend soundtracks to support the game's creator but the combined price of two soundtracks is much more than I think it should be.

Why's the album art so low resolution on the Steam version compared to the Bandcamp version? 200x200 JPG on Steam but a 3000x3000 PNG on Bandcamp. Same with Volume 2, except the Bandcamp album art on that one is 1920x1920 Also I recommend listing these as a soundtrack instead of a DLC next time so people don't need to install the entire game just to download the music. (the music's great btw)

I should be saving up for SR2 but I couldn't stop myself from (with very poor accuracy) humming the "Ranch - Night" theme as I study. Since I was humming it anyway, it's a good soundtrack, and I was probably butchering it, I don't mind shelling out some $ to "own" (license) the track so I can listen to it properly. It's not going to buy me happiness but it'll get me a little closer LOL.

Question for the devs. I know that one of the latest updates has a new area and new themes, but does the purchasable soundtrack update to contain the new music? If so, will it automatically add it to my library, or will I have to re-purchase the soundtrack for those songs?

The music for Slime Rancher, particularly the new credits song, is utterly amazing. It's worth every penny, just like the game itself. I'm currently listening to it whilst writing this review! I couldn't possibly recommend it enough.

The music is great, best soundtrack I've ever heard in my life (second would be undertale), worth every cent. Definitely recommend buying if you already have slime rancher. Don't download off the internet, get it here legitimately and help the devs of this fantastic game that we all love!
