It's a nice game with a pretty good story.

This is a visual novel that proceeds linearly. Beautiful story that unfolds and comes to a grand, emotional, and satisfying finale. The story develops very slowly and accelerates over time, gaining in depth and drama. While often slow paced, the narrative is never boring or tedious. I loved the anime art and the restrained soundtrack that never got annoying. The writing has a stream of consciousness feel where the narrator experiences, reflects, and speculates as events unfold. Enjoyed the bonus content, thank you for sharing. It took me maybe 6+ or so hours to complete the story in 4 sittings. (Steam recorded more because I left the game on while doing something else)

I purchased this to support the ffxivsquadron dot com website. The story is actually very detailed so if you enjoy a good story that doesn't breeze over details, this game is for you. I feel like I've only scratched the surface so far.

The story is better than it seems. I have played probably more than a hundred visual novels so I play these games all the time. It may seem generic but it's really good with special effects too. The middle is tedious but the beginning and especially the end was amazing. It's a unique story with good art and music plus a lot of special effects. It's really not short especially for only $8 - great value for the money and a great way to spend around 4 hours.

This is the first kinetic novel I've experienced. It took a moment to get used to the format, but once you get the sound and word speed set to your liking (all very easy to do in options) then it is a nice, different experience. Sound in this case is sound effects and music which are both nice, but voice acting or narration would be a nice addition in the future. That is really my only complaint so far (I have not yet finished the story) and it is a minor one. The story is interesting, and also offers clean breaks in setting (like chapter ends) that are great for saving and setting it aside to come back to later without being mid-conversation for those of us who read in chunks and not all at once. I like the story and look forward to reading more later.
