Did you enjoy the Jindosh riddle in Dishonored 2? Then this little logic grid puzzle game is for you. It offers exactly what it promises and has an infinite replay value since every case is randomly generated. The option to mod everything from the graphics to the clues is a neat feature - freshening up the visuals a bit actually does wonders after playing for some hours.
The only thing I miss is a greater variety of clues and difficulty levels, as the majority up until the very last one tends to be a bit on the easy side. Not that it's a big issue. The game still offers good fun for a good price. Recommended!

Unfortunately this game no longer works.
It's missing clues on Detective Constable.
So it's impossible to play it anymore.
Good thing I have a backup of the previous version.

Pretty simple in appearance and mechanics, but a good time nonetheless. If you like solving logic puzzles and murder mysteries, this is the game for you. I'd recommend having either a notepad or your phone or something on hand to help you write/draw things out.

A simple game based on the famous "Einstein's riddle" about a murder and five neighbours of various colors, nationalities and likings towards drinks, cigarettes etc.
The player is given a few clues regarding the placements of each of the suspects and is asked to solve the riddle through sheer logical thinking.
This very basic concept makes for a solid mind twister - the early levels are quite easy but when the player gets to the proper riddle format - it starts to get interesting.
Not a lot can be said about the gameplay, each "case" may take from 3 to 20 minutes based on how quickly can the player link the facts. The format works really well for those who want to solve a twisted riddle once in a while.
The game pushes players towards progress by giving them an option to change themes of the cases (changes the places, weapons, nationalities) - it's a nice, minor flavor that may keep the overall thing interesting.
The graphics aren't anyhting special but they serve the purpose of the game.
The only slight inconvenience may be the notepad, but its merely a few wasted clicks that have to eb done in order to switch between in and the riddle, nothing serious.
In overall - a small and good mind twister that for its price does a pretty good job on giving the player a logical riddle for a few minutes. Worth a buy even without any discounts if it is your kind of thing.

Since i first came across the "Einstein riddle" (that only like 2% can solve, sure...) i wanted a game of it with two feature: more cases and better UI than my excel sheet to help with the elimination part.
This game does the more cases. Basically infinitely more. They are randomly generated, so it is not likely you get the same one on higher leveles. On the other hand the randomness might varies the cases difficulty (at least for me).
Unfortunatelly the UI is not even near to what i would like to use. Even if the elmination part (someone couldn't be chef since the chef is British and he is French and so) is hard to implement now, a starting neutral stage for all traits would be nice. And especially that if the cluebook wouldn't cover out everything. I thought the higher level speedrun achievements would be almost impossible even with these changes, but since some people already got them... well, hats of to them if they have done it fairly.
So yeah, this games frustrates me a great deal, but i'm still coming back for more (which is a rare thing with my low tolarence for BS). Also hoping for a follow up with much better UI.
