This game is wonderful for several reasons: It has low graphic demands so instead of being pretty it can be complex. It is multiply progressive. first a, then b, with a and b, c....etc. In more than one area. Loving it! It has random maps and mods. Makes for excellent longevity. It hasn't crashed in 70 hours of play time. The author is still making regular updates. You should buy this! :)

Great game. As said before, its ALOT like transport tycoon, just better looking which is fine becouse the concept was great alrdy 15 years ago. I don't find it to hard (just make some busses drive around inside the bigger cities and there you have your financial basis.(you don't have to bring them to other cities!) It's early acces but i have found no bugs so far. (I dont have 3 monitors, 2graphic cards etc) Only thing i would like is for some explanation on how trainsigns work since i can't seem to run 2 trains on 1 track.(yes i do make parts where they can pass) All in all, vry nise game where u can sink in alot of hours and which for me is just a way to relax, no button bashing, adhd teenagers here.

Bought it. Build some stops. Build depot. Planned a busroute. Bought 2 busses. 2 Wasnt enough to satisfy demand. Bought a 3rd bus. Added to route. Bus keeps sitting in depot status "waiting" and something else 15 mins into the game. Read about vehicles getting stuck, didn't expect it to be this bad. Submitted a refund request.

Ok - So I dumped a decent amount of time into this game this past weekend. The short answer is that while there are bugs and issues to iron out, I like it. Right now its a little bit like Transport Tycoon Deluxe light with some rough edges to smooth out - which, for early access, is not necessarily a bad thing. This game, as it stands, is a great starting point for something that could be truly great if the dev keeps up with it. Although there are a few glitches I've run into, I still haven't found anything that makes the game crash, or totally unplayable. (Although there are some things that made me scratch my head and restart a game/map --- which again, early access build not necessarily a bad thing). If you've played Transport Tycoon (Or Open TTD) you'll feel fairly at home here, even if there are some major differences between the two (working those out has been interesting). My benchmark for early access games is this: if I buy it now, and the game never gets updated again, will it still be worth the money to play it in its current state. Can I say this for this game? If you're a fan of the genre and you're looking for something a little bit lighter than TTD/Open TTD... then yes, it definitely is.

A really great game for optimizing logistic networks, but there are a few rough edges (upgrading existing vehicles and specifying routes is tedious; monitoring older vehicles/routes is manual and difficult; resource sources/destinations are too random to be entertaining). I wish the game would get some more updates - it is a great start, but currently needs some quality-of-life updates to be worth additional playtime.

The state of the of the game is very buggy. It's also filled with bad spelling and grammatical errors. Most importantly though is that it's, by all accounts, DEAD. The last update was in March 2021. Avoid like the plague.

Obviously taking inspiration from Transport Tycoon Deluxe, Transports also brings some new features to the table:

Cities and industries require power, so powerplants serve as more than just places to dump coal and oil.
You can research upgrades for your vehicles.
Industries consume things other than just the primary components of what they produce. For example, a factory also accepts shipments of machinery.
You can sabotage your competitors' facilities and hire security for your own.
I put together a video based on my early impressions: https://youtu.be/4wDz8FKHr8o A few things I'd like to see going forward:

More advanced signalling.
More control over camera tilt at higher zoom levels. I felt like I couldn't see enough of the map when zoomed in.
The ability to copy timetables between vehicles.
All in all, I'm excited to follow this game as it develops through Early Access.

The first few hours work fine, with some acceptable issues for an Early Access game. But at a certain point the game just becomes unplayable with mid-late game factories just not producing. With no updates in 2.5 years, it either needs to be pulled from sale or updated. It feels scammy. I should have done more research before buying, don't be me.

Abandonware. Looked like it might be a spiritual successor to Transport Tycoon but falls short in most regards and is unfinished. Try out OpenTTD if you want an amazing version of what this game was trying to be.

TL;DR A modern and 3D approach to Transport Tycoon Deluxe.
Pros:

no more isometric view , now you can rotate and zoom in/out easier
power plants have a purpose - no power no production, no power no city growth
the commodities flows have a larger purpose, in TTD you just transport them from one industry to another and that was it, in Transports you complete the requirement for industries and generate new commodities, and those commodities will be transported to cities and will help them grow.
new feature: managers - there are managers that with a cost will do some jobs for you: replace old vehicles, apply upgrades to vehicles, do researches, do maintenance. As the developments evolves more manager types are added
new feature: politics - you have, for now, 3 types of ministries that can influence economics for everyone (ex: you can change the tax %) - but to become a minister you have to reach a certain level and also be popular among the cities. Another part for politics is that you can become a mayor for a city and once you are elected you can build the city as you please
theme modding support - you can create you own theme with content on your pleasing. The developer was kind to share the theme definition and 3D converter tool so we can create our own theme. I, myself, created around 15 more industries and commodities to play with, apart from the 40 commodities available in the game.
the game is in constant development even if only one person is doing this job.
the developer is very open to suggestions and is adding features requested by community (in the limit of not breaking the game mechanics or too complex to do compared to what it brings)

Cons:

the fact that the game is in constant development is a pro and also a little con - because adding new features will break some [strike]save games or the features just can't be used on a old save game[/strike] - since 2018 all game updates have not broken the save games all is OK
[strike]being in early stage of development there is little content on the unit part, but this is easy fixable by the content created by the community[/strike] - I've made some mods that will add more than 70 hours of gameplay.

Conclusion:
The game is fun to play and easy to manage once you understand the mechanics. The most anticipated feature I'm waiting for is the integration with Steam Workshop were we can share more content for the game.
