There is just too liitle in this game. I wanted to give this to kid but I felt embarrased by it

I watched DangerouslyFunny play it, and thought, "Sweet, That's right up my alley!" Because i had been searching for a train game for a while. Honestly i think that it takes way too long to make an enviroment, you can hardly scale the blocks and has a pretty bad grid system. It's such a good idea, but it was sadly too under-baked. Additionally, i love the idea of actually being a conductor for your little train set, but i also think that there aren't many things to do with the train itself, not to mention there are only 2 kinds of carts and no caboose. Honestly, its a shame, i really hope it gets updated to have workshop support, Almost every game benefits from the steam workshop, espically sandboxes. Please update this game, but until then i sadly must refund.

Sorry, but it isn't as great as I think it'd be. It's fun to watch youtubers play it but when it comes to actually playing it yourself, it's not that fun and restrictions become apparent quickly. The main issue is that despite it being the entire focus, there isn't really a lot to the 'trains', you only get 1 type and 2 different carriages. You can't customise routes (you can only have basic ones that run around a simple basic loop), you can't have trains automatically stop and go at stations and it seems that more effort went into the scenery items more then the trains themselves. Another issue are the controls, there is an annoying grid system and you can't alter the size of terrains so you have to meticiously stack them upon eachother... yeah, and the limited track parts only allowing turns to just be sharp 90 degree angle turns. Though, the music is nice and the preset maps will allow for creativity, so there is some good in this game. It'd probably be more fun to somebody who is younger or is more easily entertained, but it just doesn't click for me. Sorry but I have to take the refund, it's too limited and doesn't really do much with trains, this game is also kinda overpriced, so if you must get it on a sale. This game would also benefit greatly from a workshop. If these issues are addressed in the future, i'll try it again, but I wouldn't recommend generally.
