Do not buy, the developer gave this game for free because of the last devs "failed, bad attempt" to Pro Gamer Manager, however this dev literally quit BEFORE TWO WEEKS! (Might have even been in the first week) Pro Gamer Manager the first one is so much better, and that is just mind-numbing RNG seeing if your rank goes up/down and get skill points, just.. seriously, this game is trash the AI from the team, the fact the devs tried making a Sims + Gamer Management game.. just.. stay away.

I'm kinda split on this game in its current state. On one hand, the game works and it's an improvement over PGM1. On the other hand, it still has many issues, such as League games not counting if you play before the day is over (and the game will still prompt you to play the same game you just played earlier. Of course, with your players being completely drained after one game, this means forfeiting the repeat game, which ends up officially counting toward your League standing. Since they decided to focus on just having management first, and only for FPS, I'd have to take off a few points for the lack of career player mode (my original interest in PGM) and the lack of the MOBA mode which PGM1 had despite the fact it was somewhat messy. This isn't meant to be a negative review, only that I'm unable to recommend the game as it currently stands with all the issues it currently has. So, is the game fun? Yeah, for the most part, especially taking control of the players during the actual game. Is it worth buying? Not right now, not until more updates come along. UPDATE: Millenway has filed for bankruptcy and abandoned the game's development. PGM2 is officially dead. They should've kept the format of PGM1 instead of making a Sims-like game, along with keeping with the MOBA game mode. FPS isn't nearly as popular.

After buying PGM 1 in early access i was extremely dissappointed that they would start work on a sequel without even finishing the first one. But whatever gave the developer the benefit of the doubt because they explained they wanted to go in a different direction with the game to leave developement after a week into early access is dispicable and makes this look like nothing more than a scam release 2 quarters of each game before abandoning them just leaves a terrible taste in ones mouth. Really had high hopes for this after the first time i played it. If you guys knew you were running low on funds you should have given discounts to previous owners of PGM rather than hand the game out for free to everyone with a copy that's just irresponsible, and the fact that even after you announce you have declared bankruptcy YOU STILL have the game for sale doesn't make look like anything else than a money grab

The first one was actually a little enjoyable, but this takes all the good elements it had and shoves it somewhere where the sun doesn't shine. Did not enjoy it at all.

Game was abandoned by the developers less than a week after the game's release. In it's current (and seemingly final) state it is very raw and really needs more done with it (which will never happen).

DO NOT BUY! unfinished and never will be, game abandoned. To quote the devs "we won’t be able to continue the development of PGM2" Why is this game still up for sale? Even with the dev admitted they will never finish the game steam still has it for sale, disgusting.

To start off, I really want this game to succeed and become a big thing. And I truely appriciate all the work the developers have put into it. I am trying to enjoy this game. But in its current state, the game is just not fun. 1. There is way too much micromanaging. I can barely get any time for my players to practice or stream because they are always needing something. Whether they are hungry, thirsty, or tired, it just isn't fun to have them run around the house, filling their needs, only for them to need to go to bed as soon as you are done. It also doesn't help that some players just end up "freezing" and won't do anything you tell them to. This game is not the Sims, and I didn't get this game to play the Sims. I just wanted to be the manager of an E-Sports team. 2. The map The map for this game looks kinda ridiculous. I would rather just have real world locations and we can select where we want our team to be situated. It is much more relatable when I can recognize the world. 3. Mood Mood is very difficult to keep up. It doesn't help that when mood is low, it is pretty much a vicious cycle, as you will lose more games, which in turn lowers the mood. This also goes hand in hand with players needs. I actually enjoyed the game as PGM. It just bugged me that nothing I did would help because the games were random. I had all maxed out players and we would still get killed in the majors. But atleast it looked good, and it was a step in the right direction. I would have been fine with the same game with higher skill caps and less RNGness. But instead we got this. A whole revamp to the original idea. I don't want to build a gaming house. I don't want to take care of 5 individual players. I just want to train my team, become profitable, make a name for my team, and eventually become the best in the world. But in the game's current state, I think I would drive myself insane trying to accomplish that. One last note: I enjoyed the Counter-Strike-esque much better, but now I have a game in which I cannot relate to at all because it is nothing like a currently existing game. My advice: ditch the whole needs thing, or make them decay MUCH MUCH slower. Change the ingame world to the real world. Rework mood: make it have less effect on the players, make it much harder to decrease.

Review Edit: -=|WARNING! do not buy devs has abandoned further development|=- just like PGM1 they also abandon PGM2 what a joke! avoid this dev in the future! Original Review: I dont understand all the positive reviews becouse the game is really terrible in its current state if you can get passed that it looks like its been drawn by a 7 yr old the game itself is filled with bugs and it has no tutorial few issues -players bump into eachother when walking somewhere like bathroom, fridge or toilet -players have to walk twice to the fridge if they are hungry and thirsty -players flee in panic when they are almost dead this I could be ok with if they would flee towards there own team instead of walking into the gunfire or towards the enemy right now please avoid this its not worth the current pricetag in anyway

This should not be on sale any longer. Abandoned within days of early access release. Ran out of money, released game before they should've to try to grab cash to continue development. It didn't sell well, because well it sucks and it's nowhere near ready for even early access, and they went bankrupt. This should be off the store.
